  • Nice setup.

    I don't think the VF39 is appropriate for this application. You'd be better suited with a larger turbine housing to lessen backpressure. A larger compressor could also give a much better efficiency above 5000' but start with the turbine. If you are operating the engine in the 3-4k rpm range then the obvious choice would be a Garrett GT2871R. If you want to stay with IHI, then the VF34 with a P20 turbine housing would be a great combination. Ball bearings are far more reliables also
