This must have been very hard to do in two tracks. The work is good and the tempo is nice, could maybe be a bit slower. really try to enjoy how beautiful the melody each track is. The playing is good and it is very fun to listen to. Just one thing more though, you play with mistakes and while we are all human and can make mistakes I think a lot of your mistakes could be fixed by just practicing all of the piece really slowly and paying close attention to how you will hit each note accurately.
Wow, that's really good. I like the two tracks. I think it could be a tad slower (I play it at 84 bpm), which would enable you to focus on articulation and get it even more crystal clear.
Thank you. See, at 84, i think the piece looses some of its charm. But I think I feel such way is due to the fact that I've always heard Gould playing it at breakneck speed that a fast tempo for this variation is well ingrained in my head. I can't read music so I can't help but emulate what I hear. I find your take on trying to derive a 'perfect' bach tempo very interesting though. Please do keep posting more videos.
I think it's just a matter of getting used to. I don't listen to Gould anymore and have totally "deprogrammed" myself from his tempos. Once you deprogram or decondition yourself from those extremely fast tempos everyone plays, it's easier to accept a tempo like 84. I like your playing and I especially like Bach on guitar.
Could you give me the tab please , I love Bach !
