  • Hey what's the transmission efficiency?

Does this use electricity if you don't have anything charging?

And I thought this is based on resonant magnetic waves discovered at MIT. Where the heck does "Isreal" come in here?

  • sonicare's been using this technology for a while as well

  • cool

  • Cool dude. you must be a wild

  • cool and all but useless at the moment

maybe they can upgare it so it can be really wirless ^^

  • Check out our new post on the Powermat Kitchen with wirelessly powered appliances, it may be a more practical use of this technology. It really is quite inpressive!

  • Although the Powermat Kitchen has been specially prepared ofcourse, it's a great innovation. In the kitchen video the desk has certain spots, but in the future it could result in full size charging desks, so you don't have to place it on an exact point.

Really impressive, and I'll certainly keep track of any updates. Thanks for posting!!

  • this isn't rely wireless as you need to plug the mat in first and then you need to put the aplience on the mat.......stupid

  • Unitl you can create power out of nothing, there NEEDS to be a scorce for the power. It is a really neat technology. Check out our new post on the Powermat Kitchen, you might change your mind on the technology. It is pretty neat.

  • but may i add somewhat pointless

  • this is unbelievable
