I had this on VHS for years and have watched it probably 100 times since 1983. No kidding. The video here, though, is in a slightly different aspect ratio (YouTube media player) and now I can see bits and pieces at the edges of the frame that I'd never seen before. In a strange way, it's like watching it for the first time again!
FYI -- this special was taped at the Ed Sullivan Theater, formerly the home of the Ed Sullivan Show (duh) and currently the home of Late Show w/David Letterman.
I'm pretty sure the guy in the red headband played the acrobat in "Seinfeld" who didn't return Jerry's jacket after he borrowed it for a bit in their show.
amazingly, you could mess up back then and it was still a good show. Today, on america's got talent for instance, you mess up even once and your considered a flop.
AMAZING!! It takes real talent to juggle like that!!!

By the way, the guy on the left (Paul aka "Dmitri") who is passing with each right-handed throw..... he's left-handed.

Jazz... I learned to have fun with passing clubs from this segment. I must have watched it 200 times.
