i have a question, i have windows XP home SP3, 2 gigs of ram , its a 5 years old PC, and is NOT a dual core. i'm looking to buy this webcam, the same one you have, do you know if it will work on slower systems ?.

Thanks for letting us know about the optimized vs non optimized video quality.
I compared the video quality on Youtube of the C310 vs the C525...and it seems that the C310 had better image quality. (The C310 has a fixed focused lens and the C525 has a lens that focuses at close range). I looked at the video quality of the C910 which was great....but the C310 seemed to look just as good in 720 mode.
@Dopeboifresh1994 yeah the mic is pretty good. i'm using the mic on it for the video and even though my voice is horrible it comes out pretty decent :)
@Dopeboifresh1994 oh yeah i forgot to mention,. i had FF13 on in the background with sound, but the mic only picked up my voice (suggesting a directional mic)
Brilliant 2 Demos on Logitech C310. Lots of information given, and special thank you for ALL YOUR EFFORT. I'm buying a couple of those Cams. The Price is Good. A good step up from the non-HD Webcams. I have always used LOGITECH Brand, and they have proven to be of better quality in hardware and software than many other Brands. THANK YOU AGAIN AND GOOD LUCK.
@ZadZadrack thanks! i don't know if i did that good of a job, i just said what was my impression and what was on my mind at the moment i got the cam and had tried it out. like i think i mention in the other video comments the only bad part about it is that it doens't have autofocus, but thats only an issue at close range, otherwise you'll never notice it. glad i could be of help.. theres no other review of the c310 out yet :)
@Castaa if you check my other video you will see that the optimized mode doesn't lag, i'm guess my laptop computer doesn't have the cpu requirements to do 720p video uncompressed, the logitech optimized 720p mode works much better, but with slightly less details due to compression.

wow the quality of the audio and video is quite nice for a low end offering. Why is the audio out of sync?
