  • Most of the movies back in the day are better because the fight scenes are more realistic. CGI didn't exist then and they had to come up with creative ways to shoot awesome scenes. I love that the documentary Films of Fury goes into the history of Kung Fu films and glorifies the past. bitly .com/ooGvKw

  • I agree most old movies are just so much better than todays. I always go to movies trying to find one that will really hit me like i think Star wars or indiana jones or Poltergeist or E.T. hit people your age...it's really rare nowadays.

  • @45andcounting

Nice list, man. I LOVE the Lion King. It is by far the best Disney film, and the best animated film. As for the rest of those movies, you sir have great taste in film.

  • @MetaPunkXP Hey thanks mate! Bear in mind the list I have right now is work in progress. I'm 13 and I still have yet to see a load of 18-rated movies (18 is the British equivalent of your R), and that won't be easy with parents as cautious as mine :P

And, having seen Back to the Future and rewatched some other movies, I would put The Lion King and WALL-E at 6 and 7, pushing Superman to 8, and I would put BTTF at 9 and The Matrix at 10. Thanks very much!

  • My list rethought again (work in progress): Worthy runner up: The Matrix 10. Back to the Future 9. Superman 8. Disney Pixar's Up 7. Wall-E 6. The Lion King 5. I, Robot 4. Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest 3. Hot Fuzz 2. Batman 89 1. Jurassic Park
  • Transformers The Animated Movie was animated in Japan, so it is anime...Pretty obvious as well when you look at the animation.

The new animated Transformers series doesn't look like anime at all, it looks like a frikkin' mess, like most animated cartoons these days.

  • I want to see The Crow, Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Alien, and The Matrix (no, I haven't seen The Matrix, please kill me) before I construct my final list, but here's what I have so far: 10. School of Rock 9. The Bucket List 8. Spider-Man 2 (you'll have to excuse me, I'm a bit of a comic book nerd) 7. E.T. 6. The Lion King 5. Superman 4. I, Robot 3. Hot Fuzz 2. Batman '89 1: Jurassic Park

  • I've rethought my list slightly. But I still want to see The Crow, Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Alien, and The Matrix (no, I haven't seen The Matrix, please kill me) before I construct my final list, but here's what I have so far: 10. Spider-Man 2 9. E.T. 8. Beetlejuice 7. The Lion King 6. Superman 5. I, Robot 4. Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest 3. Hot Fuzz 2. Batman '89 1: Jurassic Park

    that's good thing

  • The michael bay movie was good but this film kicked ass!!!! woo rock on!!

  • Comment removed

  • Braveheart was great never seen total recall but the others sucked

  • What's total recall about? plot-wise I mean.

And I actually liked the Bay Transformers. It had problems (very incoherent sometimes!), but it was a good time overall. I've never seen the original. What's this about a hair metal soundtrack?

  • Man I really like it your top of all time.I really agre with all kinde of movies but I need 1 more movie;].Starship troopers1997.One of the best movie ever!!!.However you have made a grate job.

  • I just have to stop right here for a minute, I don't care if you don't like Animated, just please don't tell me you're a G1 Purist.

Surely you like Beast Wars, or G2. I understand the nostalgic value, but still.

But if you are looking for solid Transformers fiction out now, check out the IDW comic series, particularly Infiltration, Escalation, etc.

  • +Great optimus prime died darnit now its ruined for me lol sounds good though i wanna watch it

  • finally, someone who loved "transformers" as much as i did. now i don't have to feel so nerdy anymore... thank you... (sob).

and i love "braveheart" too- makes me even more grateful for the people in my life that care about me and reminds me of what's really important.

  • Transformers!!!! As a kid I saw it at the movies and was blown away. It was the first time I understood what death meant. Then when I got the vhs tape, I played it till it was all eatten up. You make me feel ashamed for not putting it on my own top 20 list.

    You have good taste....!

  • thats your top 10 i can see some of but Daredevil Ghost Rider Fantastic Four X-men: The Last Stand i cant stand those there in my top worst list

  • i agree, his list sucks, not furys, rockdemytasteinmoviessucks

  • optimus prime died! thanks for ruining it for me.

  • Optimus was the first hero I knew that didn't dress in tights (like Spiderman and Batman) and he was the best. And, to watch him die... *cries*

  • When you were talking about "Braveheart" you said "Braveheart is a movie I turn to when things are spiraling out of control" What do you mean by that? Depressing day? Stress?

  • Lawrence of Arabia is my personal favorite.

  • RIGHT ON! you included Transformers. That is righteous man. That movie is highly under-appreciated. This one is definitely on my list as well. If it werent for that god damned hot rod, Prime would have murdered Megatron. Rod also stole the matrix from Magnus. And dude, i;; never get over iron hides death. Unlike today, back then we weren't told and shown the entire movie in trailers and in reviews so the Death of Prime and iron hide was a complete SHOCK. People today will never know how much.

  • Total Recall Rocks!!!

  • Bay didn't have Frank Welker be Megatron or Peter Cullan be Ironhide.Devastater not a tank. The transformation soudeffects was lacking along fighting scenes with Optimus and Megatron.

  • i liked both transformers movies, but if i may ask, furry why didnt you like Bays transformers?

  • i dont get why u didnt like transformers the michael bay version....although i do love the old one to

  • R.I.P Optimus Prime!

The Transformers movie was simply amazing! I mean, Hair Metal, Explosions and giant transforming robots! How can you go wrong?

  • I liked Michael Bay's Transformers for it's entertainment value and for that it was good.

  • you forgot to mention tranformer's brilliant soundtrack

  • nice vid ;)

  • I think both Transformers movies are good.

  • Totally agree with your comment on the quality of modern directors and movies. Too much CGI and not enough story in my opinion. Are you going to review 'Doomsday'? I have the misfortune of seeing it today.

  • who framed roger rabbit is freaking awsome. ive been wanting to buy that for a really long time. i thought it was kinda kool that at least one transformer died in the new movie.

  • Dude, check out my girlfriend in "Nice Planet Ill take it (2nd half) she's damn hot! (I have slept w/ her), too much info I guess, but still check her out.

  • U also have a nice voice!

  • bassasp- thank you sir!

  • hey fury. I previous account used to be itty69. I am glad you are back. here is my top ten 10 Jurasstic Park 9 Rudy 8 Gladiator 7 Hero 6 Braveheart 5 Batman Begins 4 The Matrix 3 The Bourne Trilogy 2 The Lord of the Rings Trilogy 1 The Dark Knight(dont judge me. this movie really has that MUCH of an impact on me!)
  • i want a voice like that when i grow up

  • U don't like the Michael Bay movie? Ahh, well. Nice list though!

  • idk maybe it's just me but christopher lloyd in who framed roger rabbit still scares the shit out of me to this day. and i'm 19. o_o

  • Nothingface430- nah dude I'm totally with you, he's flippin creepy.

  • You have a great sense of humor Fury

  • junktrucka210- thanks I try to have fun with these videos .

  • Great list! Check out my three top 10 lists. Really loved Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

  • I can't wait for part 2!

  • Donottalktome- almost finished with it.

  • NICE!!!!

  • I liked the Transformers movie as well

After I saw it for the first time at my grandparents house, I couldn't get Van Halen's song 'You've got the touch' out of my head. So long ago

  • rankaratar- That was an amazing scene where Optimus is like ALL the backup they need and runs over like 3 decepticons while flying into the air taking out the rest.

Or when Hot Rod finally got to become Rodimus Prime and took out Galvatron. nice stuff

  • i had nightmares from roger rabbit too!!!

  • Dreadpirateroberts11- That judge did some freaky things man, with his Eyes!

  • i KNOW i would always dream of his eyes popping out and watching my leg dissolve into the DIP!!!!! funny in retrospect, but it was scary as hell when i was little.

  • God that is so true...The director qualities have diminished

    5stars

    great work as ALWAYS

  • ACTORnSCREENWRITER- I'm fortunate enough to be around many up and coming directors and I tell em I hope they have the balls to stay true to their art and not sell out. We need more Benicio del toro's and less Ratners.

  • I don't know what to think of Jessica Rabbit... Just makes me think...

I loved the original Transformers movie; The music, (most of) the characters, and the no-holding-back. It was just plain great and fun to watch.

And I can't believe I haven't seen Braveheart yet. Must watch soon...

  • SurooshX- DUuuuuuuuuuDE please see braveheart. you must.

  • "Until then i never realized i love cleavage." LOL so true

  • terdfurgason- it's TRUE! wowZAH!

  • intresting choices of movies fury, who framed roger rabbit was one of the movies i ever remember watching. i must of watch that 50 times it blew my mind. i also really liked space jam but it was nothing like who framed roger rabbit

  • mullen15-space jam was fun but too kiddy, Roger Rabbit was that rare movie that kids and adults could enjoy. Groundbreaking stuff.

  • When my mom was dating my dad, she couldn't say his name (Roger) because it reminded her too much of Roger Rabbit and she would start cracking up.

  • bottomlessLocker- Your poor dad, ruined by a rabbit.

  • lmao, "i don't cry during movies,I'M A MAN"

  • angelcomplexity218- haha, yeah I thought I'd joke about that, you know how guys get.

  • 'See you at party, Victor'. lol

My favorite line from Total Recall. I still laugh, when thinking about that scene on the elevator.

  • Tsjoencinema- That line is SO good I was gonna put it on the video but I didnt have time.

  • wow awsome just awsome no one and i mean no one has ever drawn me to the love of films as much as fury, his opinions on movies actually matter to me.....but being the dumbass that i am time to time i'll see a movie that you thought was bad *cough*meet the spartans*cough cough* but seeing this vid got me to admit....I heart who framed rodger rabbit but as for my top ten i have a very hard time choosing favorites

  • wertyui422- ugh you saw spartans?? well put together your top 10 and post em up! I'd love to see it. Thanks for the huge compliments man

  • i told you....dumbass=me lol 10.scary movie (the only good spoof) 9.terminator 2 8.who framed rodger rabbit 7. Matrix 6. transformers (2007) 5. terminator 3 (acting/writing was gay but solid story) 4.300 3. a nightmare before christmas 2. Sweeney todd (don't judge me) 1. *dun dun duhhhh* Predator man in a couple years i'd like to see you reveiwing a movie by me (eh guy can dream)
  • Wertui422- sir, to review a movie you do would be an honor. So you liked Sweeney Todd that much huh? I found myself listening to the soundtrack on my ipod more than once. Excellent movie

  • phew i thought i was the only one with it on my ipod

omg finally every one of my friends didn't like it but i just can't see why!!

  • wertyui422- Nah I got a buncha OST (official sound tracks) on my ipod. I have one of those rare jobs where I can listen to music all day.

  • man ur lucky

  • Now heres a movie list i can get on board with. Thank god you didn't just visit IMDbs top 250 movies and go from there. i don't know anybody whose brave enough to admit that Who framed Roger Rabbit and Transformers were in their top 10. Thanks anyway.

    DAN13LS70NE

  • dan13ls7one-Thanks man, I know I coulda gone the serious route with this list, talk about the best movies ever, but nah, these are movies close to me and I say why thats all and yes, it does take a certain man to admit this stuff. A manly man...a man's man. ok i'll stop now

  • fianlly a top 10 movie list with good movies, and euro-cry baby crap that no one has ever heard of or has interest in. Or over blown special effects 'epic's with its 'plot' rotation around the amount of T&A you see.

    2. Conan the Barbarian

    3. Indiana Jones and the last crusade

    4. The Empire Strikes Back

  • Zdaytona05- They suuuuure are my man ! excellent.

  • Nice video.

I believe filmmaking has gone two ways - art and crap. There's no more middle ground of the 80s and 90s.

You just need to know where to look to find more of the good stuff. I'll try to help people with that once I get this channel up and running. ;)

Otherwise the mussel/action era is dead and gone.

Name one prominent new age action actor/bodybuilder with at least mediocre acting talent.

Total Recall, Running Man where all fun when I was a kid but it's time to evolve.
