Notice how the snare drum goes mising from about the first bar until 1:50, reckon Nige broke the head! He does well to keep it together on the toms until then
I BEGGED my parents to buy me this video when I was about 6 (born in 82) and my brothers would beat me up because this was all I ever wanted to watch.

Haha! I count my lucky stars because both my VHS tapes have had numerous beverages spilled over them, not to mention MANY dirty VCRs... and they function just fine!
Nice, nice performance. It's always great when he plays this, even though A LOT of gems on the Honky-album are abandoned. But this rocks your ass off. If only Elt still had the energy. But heck, we all knew where that came from back then. Glad he's spending his summers naturally high now... ;-P
I love this song. I once had a cat named Hercules. He will always be my cat. He disappeared about two years ago. We think someone stole him. What a cat he was. He was my buddy and will be truely missed. Everytime I hear this song I think of him. Dennis T.
never heard this song before my mom got me the "breaking hearts tour: live" video. such an amazing song.... truly an underrated song!!!! long live elton!!

No way! I grew up watching this video (born in 82 as well!), and wore out the coffee table playing piano on it.
This (and "The Night-time Concert") were staples of my upbringing. It's so great to hear someone else my age has felt the same way.

I still own the VHS even though it barely works because I watched it so much!
BTW, I shook Elton's hand once at a concert. I cried like a little baby.

Oh also, I was obsessed with the "Two Rooms" special.

Does anyone have what I believe was the first song of the show, Tiny Dancer? It's excluded from the afternoon concert, I don't know why...
