These guys are the elite of the elite- the strongest fighting force in the Imperium, and the Space Marines you want on your side when the Daemonic shit hits the fan. The fact that their souls are incorruptible and pure means that simply being in the presence of one is painful to a Daemon.

They're the exterminators to call when you've got a particularly bad infestation of Chaos.

they probably just dump the dead space marines into the warp, and then pull 'em back out again once the bodies have become posessed by daemons. It would save them a hellluva lot of time as far as army recruitment is concerned

Becuase other races have their special units which they can build if only they have relics. SMs don't have, so they have pretty strong normal fighters. Unluckuly, Our units are very expensive.

They're an "elite" unit for the Space Marines in Dark Crusade and Soulstorm. They're pretty epic and powerfull 2. Especially if you attach a Chaplain.

Grey knights use nemesis psy weapons capable of ANNIHILATING grand demons etc. They NEVER flee the field. Demons are their prey and a single normal Grey Knight marine reaches far beyond a regular space marine champion considering his skills in bringing the heretics to justice. Khorne bezerkers rape grey knights, if grey knights cast physchic inquistion at bezerkers location, bezerkers use mark of khorne, then even the morale immune grey knigts run away like pussys, out of the spell. And khorne bezerkers reinforece faster, and have larger squad cap, and theres not much difference in dmg, if at all.

Really? Then I'm surprised about it. I know a lot of the Grey Knights (also know by me as Grey Dudes), but to have tons of termie armor? Seriously, then it strange why Chaos wasn't screwed in the first place. Oh, and to be precise, the Black Templars are much more numerous than the Space Wolves and Grey Knights (they are nearly as big as an Space Marine Legion of the Pre-Heresy times).

In the new codex they can field terminators as troop and elites.

What I've heard about the Space Wolves is that they are divided into 13 companies the size of regular chapters, so it sounds like they are bigger than the Black Templars.

The Chaos would be screwed if the Imperium didn't keep on suffering from idiot ball excuses to make sure the status quo is god.

Now it's Twelve. The 13th got lost in the Warp, and emerged when Failbaddon launched his 13th Black Crusade. After the crusade, the 13th company got back to the warp. Although they are Chaos-proof loyalists with the same pre-heresy color scheme, they look like Chaos Marines (cuz they didn't have any Tech Marines, so they salvaged armor parts). Plus some of them turned into Werewolves (which is awesome).
