I think it's remarkable how it's 1:30 minutes of instrumental music before the first words are even spoken. Radio today would never go for that. They hack and chop and edit and BUTCHER songs down to 3:30, maybe 4:00 in rare instances, so a great song like this would probably never even make it on mainstream radio today because it doesn't fit their mold. And to think I thought radio was too formulaic back in 1989 when this came out!
