The graphics are a little overdone. It's more distracting then it is beautiful. It's just a 3D Sonic 2. There's nothing really that special about this.

Sonic has never be dead. Hey I was born in 1993 therefore I was alive when Sonic was still on the Genesis. No I'm not. Just because I have a smart and intelligent opinion doesn't make me a furry. It's because of people like him that the Classic games were ruined for me when I first got into Sonic. By definition I realize that the Classic games are great 2D platformers and I can see why people like them. But thanks to people like AKnothole Resident, Mariotehplumber, Ravekidd, and SuperPekka I can't play a Classic Sonic game without thinking about how overexaggerated the problems in the newer games are and how overpraised the Genesis games are which makes me have an unpleasant time.

@TheChe0747 You need to have a rar opener. Download a winrar, it's free software (despite what it may say), and it can open rar files for you. Once it opens it, you use the winrar's functions (the icons at the top) to extract it (click extract) and choose your desktop. The folder should be there, and inside is the .exe file that you double click to play the game. Hope this helped.

sonic 4 is fine though. actually its awesome... I just hate how there was no knuckles or tails, as well as the slight shift in physics was disappointing, like in S4 when you jump all of a sudden your momentum is gone? WTF!? I used to use the spin dash jump combo to clear long gaps all the time!
@xDaTxLayziExBoi Since this game is ran using DirectX rendering and Macs use OpenGL, you are going to need some sort of way to emulate DirectX. So, you'll either need to run Bootcamp and install Windows, or buy yourself another PC just to play games like this.

@SuperPekka that it's an unfair generalization to make that every game after Sonic 3 was shit. For example, I'd say that the Sonic Adventure games were exceptional and Unleashed and Colors were decent games. It's just a different style of play, that's all.

Sonic has never be dead. Hey I was born in 1993 therefore I was alive when Sonic was still on the Genesis. No I'm not. Just because I have a smart and intelligent opinion doesn't make me a furry. None of the new Sonic games are trash except for Secret Rings and Black Knight and those are spin off titles therefore they are allowed to be as different from the main series as they want. The only mainstream 3D Sonic game with gimmicks are Heroes and Unleashed and even then they are still decent games. The only horrible characters are Big, Jet, Shahra, Wave, and Storm. You deal with the fact that your overrated 2D games are a thing of the past and are never coming back.

The older Sonic games are extremely fun I agree but they aren't as good as Sonic Adventure and Sonic Generations. 3D platformers are just for a fact better than 2D platformers, this applies to all of platformers that went from 2D to 3D not just Sonic. I don't care about graphics, I just like being able to move in every direction instead of just left and right. @SuperPekka The fan remake is nothing special, it is just a graphics rehash of old levels unlike in Generations where the level layouts are different and aren't anywhere near as cheap with the enemy placements as they are in the classics.

By definition I realize that the Classic games are great 2D platformers and I can see why people like them. @TheChe0747 You need to have a rar opener. Download a winrar, it's free software (despite what it may say), and it can open rar files for you. Once it opens it, you use the winrar's functions (the icons at the top) to extract it (click extract) and choose your desktop. The folder should be there, and inside is the .exe file that you double click to play the game. Hope this helped.

sonic 4 is fine though. actually its awesome... I just hate how there was no knuckles or tails, as well as the slight shift in physics was disappointing, like in S4 when you jump all of a sudden your momentum is gone? WTF!? I used to use the spin dash jump combo to clear long gaps all the time!

@xDaTxLayziExBoi Since this game is ran using DirectX rendering and Macs use OpenGL, you are going to need some sort of way to emulate DirectX. So, you'll either need to run Bootcamp and install Windows, or buy yourself another PC just to play games like this.
