If you're referring to Lin/Lynn/etc and the adult woman (don't remember her name, this was a filler episode), they're shown later so I'd assume the only victim of the explosion was Zaria (crazy afro guy).

Apparently, Kenshiro ripping his shirt before killing somebody is actually a Hokuto Shinken technique that allows him to tap into the 70 percent of his strength that he doesn't use naturally.

Well, it's also used for that, but there are some times where he rips it far earlier (Like before fighting Mr Heart), or not at all (Against the Golan Colonel).

I love how Kenshiro thinks reanimating those guys as zombies is more immoral than blowing up their heads in the first place.

Also, Mr. Zaria owned, this was one of my fave filler episodes. Nanto Anshou Ken is rather unique, even if it is more like magic than a martial art per se. Early in this episode Zaria cut some guys in half from all the way in his cathedral, just by ringing the bell. That's badass. They should have invited this guy into the Nanto Rokuseiken.
