I wish they'd cut out some of the usual anime stupidities of the characters, but aside from that it's a good show. They put at least some thought into the characters not being total idiots, and the space stuff is really well done and interesting.
All the characters really have depth to them in this show, absolutely brilliant and unexpected! Great opening I like animations of the history of the early stages of man trying to get into space.
