  • What`s this song about?

  • @IlyaUshar This song is about masks. Social masks.

    More details? Learn Esperanto!

  • @IlyaUshar Excuse me, I didn't want be arrogant. I wrote this answer after a exhaustive work day. Many people always ask me about these songs. I can't take these questions anymore. Please accept my deepest apologies.

  • @JacintoYogui I should apologize too, actually i was excessively rude when accused you of being arrogant...

  • @IlyaUshar And the United States worst works: they mean that we need to learn their language in a state of acculturation. Who is arrogant?

  • @Gofzamen Don`t even know where to start. I hope it won`t be to hard for you to recall that once British Empire was one of the largest Empires if all time, with colonies scattered in every continent. Even then, it`s influence was immense. hate to distress you but today it`s the most simple way to communicate with somebody else. That`s just the way it has eventually turned out.

Today, for example, everything connected with computer programming is strongly connected with English.

  • @IlyaUshar Yes, English dominates. But it is not the most efficient, and it don't the best way to communicate. It is in imperialist bases, and always promotes linguistic injustice. Esperanto is neutral - in the sense of not belonging to any country - as well has grammar, spelling and pronunciation much easier than the English. Esperanto appears as a better alternative for international communication.

  • @Gofzamen Well, life`s not fair. For example, Two americans can`t talk privatively when they are abroad. Subject of their discussion won`t be a secret for anyone. That`s a drawback as well.

So about linguistic injustice... Comrade Lenin used to say that "The more languages you speak, the more times you`re a human " but very doubtfully that Esperanto will be international language, since there are a lot languages that are spoken by larger amount of people.

  • @Gofzamen Even if the whole world suddenly proclaimed esperanto as one and only international language, British scientists, and American institutes wouldn`t change their language. They`d still use English, so if you want study abroad esperanto won`t help you. Just as English won`t help you in former French colonies.
