I've noticed something before on the Ranger i didn't notice before. If you look on the bottom of the boat, the round circular lights and 2 small pipes near the ends are identical to a T as the Pirate's bottom design. ...interesting. Yes, a Rainbow doesn't flip, and i forgot i had posted a reply to this video, i was getting at, it makes the same noise as a Rainbow. The scenery backdrop and center pole is like a Rainbow. It is the Rainbow's set-up, only with the Ranger boat added to lower arm.

this ranger is the blue one that used to go to the oktoberfest and i was the manager for this exact ride for 6 years in the uk its a lot of hard work to build it up fully with all the back flash i loved every minute of it and i got my name from this ride hence my name is RANGER JAY and i went every where with this ride when my boss owned it places like ireland germany ,spain ,marroco ,france, oman, and dubai plus all over th uk i miss sitting down in the paybox operating it

I have not seen Ranger in person for 25 years, but I have never forgotten the sound the machinery makes. I love it! Ranger and Rainbow having both been built by Huss Maschinenfabrik do employ the same type of machinery. It's a hydraulicly driven chain and pulley system that operates on 90kw of power.
