Dave does a little 4 bar solo --if at all, in the early days he did more--he WAS the LEAD guitarist for metallica. their loss Dave is a ton smarter and more talented than that band put together --so i guess it was meant to be this way, BTW i know the man--he is very shy about his leadwork now, especially after the nerve damage to his fretting/left hand

Pretty much so. The best of Metallica is better than the best of Megadeth by a long shot, but their (Metallica's) later albums are complete sellout garbage, and they've lost their metal attitude. Megadeth has no bad albums, sure ''Risk'' and co. we'ren't up to par with their other albums but they weren't such letdowns like ''Metallica'', ''Load'', and ''ReLoad''.
