To be informed I am from Yemen and there is no british come to our lands except for the south part of yemen even only in Aden. Yemen only for Yemenies and there are a lot of Turkish families still live with us in peace. You can say they are now Yemenies as well. We do not need any one to 'protect' the holy areas, we can protect it ourselves. :)

Yemen is my nation's big tragedy during 1.world war. Many Turkish soldiers never came back to Turkiye again. My grandfather fought there but he was lucky because of that he survived. Some Arabians did bad things to our soldiers there we went to Yemen for deserving our moslem brothers but they were ungrateful. Allah never forgive traitors. Im Turkish and proud of my grandfathers. when ı listen this folk song ı cry. Allah bless all Moslems

once again the war of ww1 has nothng to do with yemen, i which happend between 1910-1911, and the birtish were not ur enemies then. As for the the ww1, stop fooling ur selves, the turks were not fighting for Islam rather for their youg turks dream of a turan empire.

Yemen is a country downn by Saudiarabia.

But the song about the Turkish soldiers who served in the army,by bte time of Ottamanempire.

They were sent to Yemen(country)a large number of them didn't make it back motherland(mostly killed by arab resistence and short of water supply) And the song is sad(for us!)cry of mother of a soldier who sent to Yemen and never been back to Turkey again.(sound like IRAK ???)

yes its the yemen country, this song is very popular in turkey and its written for the turkish soldiers who are killed in yemen at first world war.
