Godly song! Godly video!! Godly Doom Metal!! In my opinion, Doom Metal is the heaviest & most emotional form of metal!! I've been listening to many great doom bands over the years, from stoner type doom (St.Vitus & Pentagram) Epic stuff like candlemass, sad, somber shit like My dying bride, & other Goth/doom bands like Paridise lost, TypoO, etc..etc.. Just great stuff!!

@sombergod99 I wouldn't count Type-O as being doom typically, but they play a lot of different styles and they definitely have songs that I'd call doom without issue. Not trying to argue with you or nothin', just saying.

If you can find it anywhere, it might be hard now with mediafire being pretty much over, I have a suggestion, check out a band called Source of Deep Shadows. Last I checked there was a video or two up here.

actuall the lead singer has 2 rare spinal diseases.

which 1 makes the other worse. it's all in the book that explains the lyrics to all of their albums written at that time (from the 1st album all the way to "The Novella Reservoir") it's really a good book. especially if you're like myself and love to know what the song means. i find it gives one greater appreciation for the song.

Although they are a talented band I would not classify them as doom or doom/death anymore. Older releases, like the first couple of albums I would, but the past few albums.... nah! This video is VERY reminiscent of past My Dying Bride music vids. I give them tremendous respect for playing so many years but, this new album really goes by you with no impact, and quite generic..I know I'll get hazed on here for saying it but, it is not fact, just my opinion.

There's still quite a bit of that "...Fade" sound still present in our current music, if not in this song in particular. We'll never be a band that can be completely defined by any one song we do. People looking to hear more of our older "doom" influence should check out songs like When Desperation Fill The Void, or Fifth Day Of March, from the INRI cd.

Some folks have said they think the new cd is the best we've ever done, so one man's "generic" is another man's gold, I guess. No worries.
