My rabbit broke her rear leg about 6 months ago. She has recovered fantastic! Then only to be fine until her teeth had to be totally removed, but now again she is doing so well. It's amazing how much she's been through for a little rabbit... I'll post a video of her sometime.
By the way you're rabbits look lovely, they seem healthly enough! Also, Bonny still looks great even with the disability! haha :)
Hello, It depends on whether it is a back leg or a front one, but rabbits do seem to cope well, especially if they are in the house. They fall over a bit if the back leg is missing and can't of course scratch that side, but otherwise semm fine. Bonnie runs around all over the place and only wobbles slightly around corners! A front leg missing seems to cause very little difference except they can't wash their faces or ears so well.
The owner had moved and she did not have a garden so they were shut in their hutch all the time. She felt it would be better to find them new homes, which I agree with as they are lively bunnies and need room to run around. I just hope that someone comes forward to offer them a good home. Thanks for your interest!

My rabbit had lost one leg today. I'm worry for her new life. A rabbit with 3 legs can live well in a house (run and jump)?
Sorry for my english

Why did the owner of these buns choose to give them up?
