I wish Family Guy wouldn't do this; they're funnier when they use actual wit instead of overt horror. I've noticed they moved away from it somewhat in the last season, making it a more relatable show, and I hope they don't cow and back down from that. I laugh more when I like the characters, and when I can actually stomach looking at the screen. This just alienates me.
