  • Haha fuck yeah, Chiodos!

  • i installed a giant k&n air filter with a 4" pipe, made a ram air slot on my 4" cowl hood and cut my cats off and Y- the exhaust behind the tranny with a single 40 series flowmaster moved the pipe to the left of the car which made it shorter by like 2 feet and my car was as loud as a z-28 with flows and could actually give v8 stangs a run for their money, only regret was never running it at the track before i blew up the engine :(

  • how functional is it?

  • @supersexymaro92 i noticed some gas mileage improvement. not so much power

  • how did u make the cold air intake cuz i want one for my camaro

  • @supersexymaro92 just go to pep boys. they got all different kinds of pipes and cone filters

  • Nothing wrong with a V6. While it is in a 2010 Camaro, a friend of a friend has more than 500 to the wheel out of his V6. For some really cool footage there is this el-cheapo digital camcorder I got for $30 at a King Soopers (Krogers) that can mount flush to the grille and you can flip the screen forward to check your aim. Cheap enough to where it isn't a big loss if you lose it going down the road.

  • this is a sick video!

  • same here. I go to school and have a 1989 camaro, and people are always talkin shit and sayin to get a v8.

I dont care that its only a v6, its my first car and its better on gas then a v8

  • @TTGXenonvJtag I get that crap about my 1991 3.1 v6. I just got it running after three months of fussing with it. V8's are cool and all, but like a lot of people are saying, V6's are better on gas. It's not always the size of the tool, (or engine), it's how you use it that makes all the difference. Camaro's All The Way!!

  • @ALPHACHEESECURD plus the v8s in the third gen weren't powerful at all. i have a lt1 trans am ws6 now. i love it but i still love the v6s for daily drivers. i've had two 3.1's and a 3.4. the t/a is just a weekend cruiser because its a gas hog plus it always gets me in trouble with the law. the v6s never did either

  • The 3.1 V6 was a great engine for its size and weight. The 2.8 V6 was laying down 130 hp and 160 ft/lbs of torque. The 305 had about 160 hp and about 220 ft/lbs of torque for the 1986 model. The V6's were great on gas and have high horse power potential. The 305 was low on hp, but what you people neglect to look at is torque. They were designed to get to speed quick, and thats what they did. Id rather have a poor mans muscle car and be able to pay for parts than a 50k w/ no personality.

  • ouch 0-60 in about 2 weeks lol

  • good condition v6 is better than poor condition v8...

  • perfect....song.

  • cool video and im going to go to store and proabably make a cold air intake on my v8 the split intake is a little iffy

  • I WOULD NEVER PUT MONEY INTO SUCH AN OLD PIECE OF SHIT!

  • @dionreedsamurai i would never listen to a fag YOU douche thats a nice car

  • @codysk8ter95

    Enjoy your Mexican corvette!With it's 80 horse power.What a piece of shit.

  • @dionreedsamurai ahaha wow its a camaro lol camaro are nice and you probaly have a pos honda lolol

  • @codysk8ter95 No Honda.I had a 1986 iroc and it would break down every six months.leaks blown gaskets, the tranny died.it would have been cheaper to buy a camaro headlight and built around that.oh and it was soooo under powered.140hp for a v8?what pieces of shit those cars were.I promised myself never to get a camaro again.Ps when i got it it had 23,000 miles and it fell apart faster than a chinese motorcycle.

  • @dionreedsamurai thats because you got the gay 305. i got a 96 Trans Am WS6 with 305hp. with basic bolt ons these things put down over 310 to the wheels. the 305s were garbage. but camaros in general are not. buy yourself an lt1 or ls1 and you'll never buy anything else. every car is going to break down on you btw. theres no such thing as a car that will never break down. especially if you dont know what you're doing

  • @ivanruiz89 ws6 sucked just as bad as the 305.all those wanna be muscle cars were shit. And I know what I am doing .I am asc certified and worked on cars or 24 years.camaros and trans ams from the 80's and 90's were poor man muscle cars.

  • @dionreedsamurai Anyone who thinks a 96 WSR is junk needs to open their eyes haha go back to your rice I bet your just a little kid

  • @dionreedsamurai

that sucks for you. bad luck maybe. my 02 ws6 CE runs strong . very strong. pulling 390hp with just long tubes , y pipe and cat back. CAI. and an intake manifold

  • @ssgrunt sweet! i have a 96 ws6 lt1 6 speed. mostly stock for now, just ported the tb and working on exhaust

  • @dionreedsamurai such a camaro hater

  • where'd u get the intake?

  • @thefella225 built it myself. go down and read my other comments

  • I got love 4 the V-6 brothers!!

  • GET A V8!!!! lol

  • i spun a rod bearing in this one so i sold it and now i got a 81 z28 350/th350

  • @ivanruiz89 How did you spin a rod bearing>? driving it way to hard?.....

  • it had a bad leak around the oil pan gasket. the transmission started slipping so i parked it for about 2 months and after i swapped the tranny i cranked it up and forgot to put oil it in and it started knocking

  • @ivanruiz89 Well dont forget to put oil in this one. I just got a RS camaro yesterday. I am so happy with it. Its 200HP I know thats not stock and I think im around 270 torque. Its a fun fun car to drive. Give me a week and It should be around 250HP

  • what type of air intake is that?? i just got a 92 3.1l camaro myself and im having troubles finding good intakes that fit my car. thanks

  • @TheJoeBranham go down and read the other comments ive posted. i built it myself from scratch with parts from pep boys

  • never said i was trying to make the V6 fast? its a waste of time. Im just not wasting money on swapping an engine when I dont have to. V8 or V6 dont matter to me im not like rest of idiots who want biggest thing they can get and don tknow how to drive it properly.

  • I just bought a 1990 Camaro RS v6 got 3inch Y pipe exhaust other than that Im pritty sure its stock although idk cuz the guy i bought it fromt was redoing it and its pritty ballsy for a v6 lot louder than my friends whos got a 350 small block in his. way i see it I get my use outa the v6 until it dies then i stick in a 350 so.

  • yeah theyre pretty "ballsy" for a v6. but once you get behind a v8 camaro you'll never wanna go back. if i were you i wouldnt waste any money on beefing up the engine. maybe spend some money on the body but trust me from experience dont blow money on the v6 especially the 3.1. the 3.8s are ok but i would definitely swap in a 350 atleast. and if you have money punch it out and stroke it. but dont bother trying to make that 3.1 fast. theyre good as daily drivers but thats it

  • @ivanruiz89 turbo 4 cyl take both, 30mpg + 500awhp win

  • i bout a 1987 camaro with a v6 87000 miles cracked block. now a 355

  • where did you get that cold air intake?

  • got the parts for it at pep boys and made it myself so its a true custom intake. whole thing cost me about 80 bucks.

  • lol nice I have a 1990 Camaro RS V6 as well, I love the hell out of it lol but one of these days I want to take out the V6, and put a 327 V8 small block, but that wont be for awhile lol but Im happy with the V6, just enough power for now lol

  • thats what i wanted to do with this one, but with a 383. it takes a lot more than just an engine to do that tho if u wanna do it right. thats why i just sold it and got one with a v8 already in it. now i just beef it up. its worth the little bit more money

  • show the other tire burnin out lol

jk jk nice car i have a 91 like the tail light covers bout to get some i believe

  • o shit man so wut do u have now

  • a 95 camaro. check out my channel

  • wait you dont have this car anymore ? why

  • it spun a bearing and eventually threw a rod and i couldnt find another 3.1 anywhere and it was gonna be too expensive to convert this to a v8 so i got rid of it for 700 bucks

  • awesome man, I got an 87 rs myself... wanna do a 3.1 swap on it eventually lol

how come you got that cold air kit? I woulda thought you could just put some pipes down to the grille and get cold air that way??

  • i wouldnt waste time on a 3.1 swap. if ur gonna swap another v6 swap a 3.8L. and i got this intake for show purposes. its not a true cold air intake. it just sucks hot air from from the radiator. but it looks awesome for shows. surprisingly it did add a bit more power than the stock air box but not as much as a proper cold air intake would

  • how did you do your cold air kit. what brand is it. let me know please

  • just bought the pieces at pep boys and put it together. extended the maf sensor and drilled it into the y-pipe. whole thing cost me about 80 bucks

  • Nice car man! what kind of cold air intake is that? And how much does something like that cost?

  • sick ride

  • that alesana in background?

  • nope. chiodos. the world's best friend becomes

  • if you want speed the best is option for this motor would probably a centrifugal supercharger pulleys and tubes easy to install and will add a signifiant amount of horsepower for a small price.

  • How bout a sound clip

  • check out my other videos

  • You have talent with a camera!

  • Comment removed

  • v8's are overrated 4 bangers can even keep up with v8s if done right. nice care dude.

  • and a v8 will smash a 4 banger if done right

  • very true. and v6's and v8's always sound better. i camaro shopping myself. sweet ride. what all mods did you put on yours, looks and performance?

  • well i dont have a camaro lol i have a holden commodore vs ute series 3 with the 3.8L v6 ive spent a fair bit on it too goes hard as

  • nice car

thats what im lookin to do on a camaro i will soon buy

  • Nice job on the video, what progam did you use?

  • iMovie on my mac

  • sht that is a sick intake

  • thanks haha it made a noticable difference. it was mostly for show tho. haha it just sucked all that hot air from the radiator. the stock intake was cooler. this was just more high flow

  • hey put up a video of you making that cold air intake. or some instructions. Thanks!

  • i dont have the car anymore but its quite simple. go to pep boys and they have all kinds of pipes, turns, y pipes, connectors and filters. the pipes come with a clamp that u tighten with an allen wrench. its very simple just go to a pep boys or discount auto parts and its pretty self explanatory

  • best v6 camaro iv'e ever seen nice

  • Nice Camaro Man!

  • whats the song? nice camaro

  • thanks its called "the words 'best friend' become redefined" by chiodos

  • Get some NGK IRIDIUM spark plugs ,and seafoam your car .

  • That's no cold air intake man, your just pulling hot air that flows through the radiator. Grab the intake from the V8 Camaros that flows from the bumper. There's you cold air intake.

  • where did u get that cold air intake its nice i have the same car but grey... nice vid

  • thanks! i had to build the cold air intake myself. i got all the parts at pep boys. its really nice and makes a huge difference

  • alright thanks for the info, ya it looks like it makes a difference!

  • nice!
