Oh i thought it was in jan bc katrina said during her room tour that she was nine when she won her trophy in 2009 for brass band...so i just assumed it was before her birthday and i thought this was at the same place as brass band. my bad whoops!

@Caitykittydisneyland Depending on the dance competition, you sometimes compete as the age you are at the competition or the age you are as of Dec 31st. So this comp was the 2nd rule & she competed as a 9 year old even though it was after her birthday.

@coolbeanscde Cats tend to pose and leap about rather than dance, so as far as being faithful to the them, they're fairly accurate.

no you are absolutely right, at these competitions we are forbidden to bring our own camera (HD) which we use to film all of our other videos, so in that case we are stuck with whatever video company is hired to tape the event and use their distant and grainy video, we were just hoping most of our viewers can appreciate the dance despite the not-so-great video quality, but thanks for noticing cause we agree with you :)
