I hate when people diss on game maker saying that you cannot create 3d game well on game maker; this video gives clear evidance that 3d games can be made on game maker and that it definitely should be given a try.

It's not that Game maker is incapable of creating 3D games, its just that it probably isn't the best tool. But nevertheless...impressive.

3. Try out the many editable tutorials and examples, they are far more varied and useful than anything I can currently offer, and you get to learn faster.

Hey, do you ever get screen tearing in your games? I agree, game maker is a great program, but the screen tearing is a major set back for me.

You can enable VSync in the preferences. It can be a performance drop though.

If I'm not mistaken, you can also do that in code so the player can choose to enable it or not.

Yeah, I've tried that (I probably should have told you, sorry.), and I've even tried making my graphix card use vsynch on everything. No luck though. You probably can't help anymore, but thanks anyway.

Your monitor might be buggered.

Not sure if it's a problem with TFTs, but I know that CRTs can do weird things when they get older.
