@RichardElden Debatable since Nasser wasnt alive for Yom Kippur and there were many other factors in these wars. For example the 1967 pre emptive war was in the pipes pre Suez, Ben-Gurion and Moshe Dayan were just war hungry. And the British Colonial interests were outdated, the 20th century should not have had any colonial powers and yet Britain held on to some places until the 1990's. And if you want to look at it retrospectively. No British mandate would have meant no wars.

@leonaofficial The events in Eqypt at the moment prove Eden was right all along. The real mistake in 1956 was made by Eisenhower, who looked weak and allowed the Soviets to exploit the situation.
