This video is the reason why I know about The Cult. I wouldn't have bought this song if I hadn't watched this video. Fuck! Why must you be like that WMG? She sells sanctuary is the perfect longboarding song. I associate it with longboarding every time I hear it and continue to love it as one of my favourite songs - mostly because of this video. well the most famous for carving is the loaded boards, there is also carving ones by nearly all makes (have a look on a forum called silverfish for difrences between boards) im the same hight as u and i can ride a slalom board easily and their shorter than a trick board, so dont worry about that, the thing that will determine how nice it is to carve more than the deck are the trucks and bushing, nearly all trucks are stock with a 50º basplate

and 50º is an all round angle, for more speed u ned less angle baseplate (u can buy these after market) so a 42º or 35º baseplate would be better for stability, so u need a higher degree baseplate like the carvers or holeys, also the narrower the axle the easier to transfer from turn to turn, then with bushings u have 3 main types eliminator,barrel and cone, now the barrel and eliminator are stability shapes, so for easier turn cone bushings, and softer duro "silverfish. com"

well, not you obviously, but for a kid who is JUST getting into it, might want to check the price on gear because if they loose intrest, they wont have an excelent longboard lying around the house, and they can learn on a cheaper deck that can take a few solid falls and hits. ect.

I remember pushing like a mad man since i still didn't find any hills near my house listening to this song and thinking i was going fast.

I remember the feeling when i got my first longboard.

I remember the session i had there.

And now the song is not on this video, my first wheels are coned and the deck chiped.... The spot got rebuilt and it's smaller.

no they dont. longboards have a longer wheelbase and larger wheels. also could be your trucks are adjusted wrong but what you experienced is speed wobble. happens alot on small boards
