Love this version and the original, but there is no possible way I can compare the two. Not only for the fact that Cher is beyond a legend (don't get me wrong, I loves my Britney :)), but also for the fact that they are two completely different songs. The only similarities are a few phrases of lyrics. This is more of an interpolation than a cover. Regardless, both are great songs from amazing artists :)

It's my favorite Britney's Non-Single track on Baby One More Time album (along with I Will Be There). Yes, original Cher's version was superb but Britney's one doesn't sound like cheap cover. She made it sound very unique and sweet. The music is fantastic
