  • this is what i need to learn

  • Can someone tell me how ancient the Hmong language is then???

  • so is dis Hmong character like Chinese character

  • I do agree, with TheHmongledentity that some of the hmong characters writing look like Hungarian characters. I tried to compared both of the writing and they kind na look alike. I saw some of the Hungarian videos and they do practiced Shaman. I think we need to look in to other countries, if we find ours roots, not just china. Ha.....................

  • Humm.. I love the context could I find the material any where on the website or by any chance could you give me some of the materials. Thanks

  • This is all new to me and also very interesting...thank you. Also do you have a website which I can read more into this or look at??

  • Don't have a website, need more youths to help volunteer. They're elders so their knowledge in modern tech is limited and I currently I'm the only youth who's helping update this information on Youtube. The more the merrier.

  • most hmong now in the USA when they sew they only use pictures now so are they going back in time or going forward??this research is going forward..hmong USA is going backward..???

  • Pictorals are the easiest way to tell a story, this has been true since the beginning of earth human history. We're all going forward by understanding our history.

  • how did they come out with this system who did the research on this. the research is great they look like chines..has this been propose for the hmong nation to use?????

  • Our purpose is solely to help share and preserve the Hmong culture through all aspects including the flower cloth (paj ntaub). Keep in mind I also do my best to explain myself in English so our English readers know what's going on.

  • As far as I know, the most old writing systems has the same ancestor, this connection can be seen in the old sign forms, in those geometry.

theese were basic symbols of an ancient unknown culture, the old human civilization.

  • That is very interesting, the Hmong elders say that according to the Hmong history there was a time human beings all knew each other and spoke/wrote one language. And that the Hmong ancestors kept as much of this ancient writing as they could, which other groups of people have kept it as well we do not know but it is good news to hear that the old Hungarian writings are similar to these too.

  • Thehmongidentity''''''''''how do i get this hmong Ancient writing.

  • These signs are very similar or at least they are the reletive of old hungarian writings signs, the so called "rovas" signs.

    and many other old writings.

  • Interesting, I didn't know that, I'll look into it. Thanks for letting us know.

  • Our elders say the same thing, that there was once a united civilization of human beings. I believe they called it the Tower of Babel in your texts, our stories simply called it the great tower in our language.

  • this writing system is great because it allows for better communication between the two groups of hmong. the problem, though, is the fact that there are some words in both dialects that are so different that even if one were to use this system, it is still unintelligible. for example, the word for sugar cane in the green dialect is "quav ntsuas," whereas in the white dialect it is called, "kab tsib." try writing it down using this system of writing and you'll understand what i mean.

  • hmm... actually i think you can contact your elder for us right? we want to talk with him because we don't know who to find for more information. since the narrator said he wrote it, he must have known alot.

  • wow this is weird..very interesting...if this was our original hmong writing system dan how come no one speack of it or pass it down to the next generation way back so we can use it..is there poof that this the real hmong writing system...bcuz i been searching for a while now to c if hmong really have one..

  • It was passed down, but only through secrecy because we didn't want Imperial China or the Communists to know about it.

  • Very interesting, but I would like to know when this kind of writting existed and if anyone here in the USA can read such stuff. Pls give me some feed baack and where I can get more info. about such kind of history.

  • They say it is as old as the Hmong themselves. I don't know if this is true I encourage you to do your own research. But yes there are people that live in the US that can read it.

  • wow, i have learn a lot through these movies. It is great to know that we still have our hmong writing alive until this day and i hope to be learn from in the future, and also to see that us hmong people did used to have a land to ourselves.
