  • STV converted the Gateway Theatre in Leith Walk into colour studios during the mid-late 1960s - a facility which proved especially useful in 1969 when a fire gutted studio A at the Theatre Royal in Glasgow, it came across as if it was done in the old Theatre Royal Building, home to the TV Channel between 1957 and 1974 but I'm willing to go with Edinburgh ;)

  • Yip, I can't imagine something so obscure to be filmed in Glasgow, and the puppets came from The Edinburgh Museum of Childhood

    The STV website says it was made in 1970
