Hey, thanks for all the vids. I like how the lessons are short and to the point. I think some teachers try to teach too much at one time and with guitar I have learned that it's all about little steps over time that make a huge difference. I've only been playing steadily for two years and have always tried to leap ahead and learn many things at once. It's actually held me back. Now I'm learning to perfect t he little things and taking my time. It's making a big difference. Thanks again!
i've been playing for almost 8 /12 years now and i can't play as fast as you =P, i noticed i have trouble keeping both hands in time when it comes to scales and tremelo picking, what would help with that?
this is a good exersize but when i get past the e b g string when coming back doing pull offs i have a hard time getting the good snap sound any advice? :)
that slide part in the beginning of enter sandman from your video i can't do it easily because the palm mute on the six string. I'm trying to be gentle with it when I slide too but I just can't seem to do it with the full effect at a fast speed without accidently hitting the six string.
Hey, I would say, that he just use too much force with his strumming hand. Also, the little buzzing may no be a bad issue if it will not affect sound and sustain of a tone. And I think he has really nice tone. But there are people who like to have high action. Many jazzmans use that and even with thick gauge strings. It is a matter of preferences.:)
I really believe that "buzz" due to the strong picking is actually good, it helps define the notes even more. I could bet every famous guitar player does it, but since they sound of the pick is not being "picked up" by the pickups... you don't realise.
that's a paul reed smith guitar and this is one good secret!

you dont have to hammer so hard and snappy just accurate
and for pull offs its important to pull to the direction of the palm

I know everyone has their own way of learning, but I think that is just retarded.

vanquisher21312 1 year ago
@vanquisher21312 yes because to go faster you can't keep it that big. Smaller=faster.

zeldasparks 1 year ago
@zeldasparks my advice is to keep your thumb in the back of the neck.
If that doesn't help then repetition will eventually gain you the finger strength needed. :)

you have to lift your right palm up a little when doing the slide to the 7th fret.
