***Warning*** Engine and Transmission World ***Warning***
Engine and Transmission World is a criminal enterprise. Google "Engine and Transmission World Reviews, Scam, Fraud" and see for yourself. If you are looking for a used motor or transmission EATW is the last place you would want to buy from. They are crooks; they advertise their parts as clean low mile ready to install but they ship out useless junk that isn't even good for a rebuild. If you buy from them you will be ripped off. Beware!
WOW. The only criticism I have is wouldn't that have been easier to start with nothing and buy chassis etc new as most of that beast is new parts anyway lol. Amazing job
Nice and gorgous car but why does everyone paint there engins black why?. I mean all the engines I have ever rebuilt and painted have always been a color other than black to show if we have a oil leak and for looks too. I just don't under stand it.
What is amazing is that these american restorers beguin from a car picket up from the garbage, this is their biggest value as restorers, my sincere compliments for these collagues. Where I live one can find old cars that are very well preserved so the job of restoration is very much easier. You are real artists!
absolutely beautiful. it warms my heart to see someone who cares about these cars enough to save an abandonded one and turn it into a work of art. Great job!
I'ma a big ford fan but seeing any old cars get a second chans is great. I think that we should stop making new cars and just fix and restore the old ones.
@B73879 Yes he did and all he had was the original shell to start what a amazing job . he did and it Looked like this was a parts car for other restoration jobs in the past stripped dry and left in a field to die for good but she is back for another life on the road what a great story.
I wish i had the cash to do this. Deffinately have the heart and a little talent, just not the check book! I love how you didnt jump back and fourth on spots of the car, you completed it step by step. I believe thats the way to do it. Keep up the good work.
It's guys like you that keep the spirit of these classics alive. Makes you wonder how the many cars you see end up in a field, forest, or lake got there to begin with.
I like how you got it when it had hardly nothing and mad something. Makes me feel confident i can restore my classic when it has alot of its self buts its a rusted. Can you give me some tips? please check out my vidz
Would you say, from rust to riches??? NAAAA!!! The finished photos look like the Mustang is smiling, and says thank you for rescuing me!!!!!!!! Beautiful!
Holy crap man... nice car. Im building a 65 fastback with my dad right now, chose Kona blue as my color, with flat black shelby stripes. Got a new ford racing crate engine, 302 thats been rebored to a 306, ive had it for 24 month now and we are about to drop the engine and tranny in

is it automatic or standard? I have a 65 coupe i need to restore, but its only got the stright six. But they are way too amazing too just let sit there!!! no matter whats under the hood
I'm looking at a 1965 mustang with a 351w for sale, the seller says it runs but does anyone now what I should look for on the engine to make sure it runs and keeps running for a long time
Great job! The fastback is my dream car. I hope I will be able to afford and gather the skills and patience for such a project at one point in my life. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Yor are my hero! I've had several late model mustangs (fox bodt and up) but finally bought a 65 coupe last summer, then another just for parts ($500 for a 4 speed top load, plus another good chassis...) a month ago. I'm almost done gutting the first one, but sit back looking at what I've still got ahead of me gets a little overwelming at times...
Seeing what people like you can do at home gives me hope that I too may actually have a worth while treasure when all is done, some day...

@Sirstangalot My son and I turned the car upside down. First we removed everything that we could. Then we made an angle iron bracket that we clamped in the rear wheel area on the frame. Then bolted the top of the angle iron bracket in the louver area. We then rolled the car onto its side on to the angle iron bracket and then rolled it on over on its top. It did not have a roof panel on it at the time. I used jack stands on the shock towers and a saw horse in the trunk area.
