  • ...brilliant lad, moreover, so cute....

  • We really were spoiled in the sixties and seventies with so many great young artists.

  • I wonder how this man didn't became a big star like Taylor, Stevens, Springsteen or any other like those. It's amazing and dissapointing, really.

  • As noted by Rolling Stone magazine, Tom ushered in the era of the singer/songwriter. In addition to performing his own compositions, he gave songwriters like Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Murray McLauchlan, David Wiffen and William Hawkins their first exposure and in a number of cases jump-started their careers. If Tom covered your song, you had arrived!

Tom is a legend in American Folk Music and is still active today. Catch him if you can when he plays near you. I sure will!

  • As good as Fire and Rain, Bridge Over Troubled Waters or any other classic during that time period. Truly an outstanding piece of music!

  • Tom Rush was a superstar in the 60s Folk Scene. His songs are jewels. They were also huge among the college hippies. Hey I was one of them.

  • @vintagezigg Lovely song. Many thanks Zigg.

  • @vintagezigg wow, this beats walker bros

  • Best ever version of this song that I have heard so far. The album it is from is a classic!

  • So handsome and heartfelt this man is!

  • very cool

  • Check out Tom Rush No Regrets performed live nearly 40 years later. I think he's gotten even BETTER!!

Either version is a fantastic interpretation of a fantastic song!

  • Thank you for posting this. They don't make these anymore. What a shame.

What artistic creativity in the early days of music vids.

    One of my favorite artists.

    The Meltdownman

  • Has to be late '60's early '70's - ah youth.

  • Do you know what year this was filmed? I'm guessing 1970ish.

  • @smd1217 This track is on The Circle Game album which came out in 1968, so it had to have been filmed that year.

  • Very great song.

Was this shot in Holland Park in London?

    Thanks for putting this up.

  • Yes...good eye.
