  • Bernstein knew he would get quality from Tölzer.Three years earlier he had used the fantastic talented, only 12 year-old, Allan Bergius - also from Tölzer Knabenchor - for this piece on nearly a world tour: Wien, New York and Milano! Especially the Milano (La Scala) performance was a big success. A technically worn-out DVD from the latter occasion is now on YTube and gives some idea of what has been described as an historic evening, June 24th 1984, in the famous Milano opera house.
