In the end it's all business. All this bullshit about freedom and democracy is just a justification for control of resources. Not to speak of WMDs. And when it comes to Iraq, Colin Powell has no credibilty whatsoever. Don't think for one moment that, because the US installed a puppet government in Iraq the insurgency is going to go away. It will cost you, and us all, dearly.

When I listen to Colin Powell, as much as I respect his intelligence, I am struck by the total lack of acknowledgement that the Bush administration has created a situation that will have consequences long after the next president's office ends. It was a strategic error to invade Iraq, period.

Army. When US entered Iraq, they should have brought more soldiers. 1 soldier for every 200 feet of border in Iraq. That would have keept all terrorists out of Iraq. Pakistan is doing fine, people there just have to avoid killing each other. A no violence policy is key in Pakistan.
