It seems like no one every really uses the omoplata as a submission, only a sweep or set-up for another submission.

@Kevynmeredith nobody does it because its hard to lock and a bit easy to escape. also if your opponent manages to escape it., it leaves you in a disadvantageous position

the key here is if he gives you the arm from the guard or you have to make him extend his arm from inside the guard.

just like boxing or chess,attacks must be used in combination,in sequence. nice combo series.

Poor quality video, but good enuff. THREE part variation is very important, because one move alone is not sufficient.
