Before I wrote the song "Imaginary" I wrote Self Control which was recorded by Laura Branigan. The two songs have something in common, besides me..."Where the raindrops as they're falling tell a story" - Imaginary..."Before the morning comes, A story's told" - Self Control. Self Control inspired me to also write Lose Control performed by Evanesence.

this is my opinion on the "Mary and the lamb concept", now i know that no-one asked for it...(dont gt pissy if you dont agree)

it comes frm th nursery rhyme; Mary hd a little lamb, whose fleece was white as snow...everywhere that mary went, th lamb ws sure to go."- mayb it suggests sme sort of innocence bout th female character Amy is singing about and "loosing control" would be fun and daring, having an affair or perhaps a on-night stand with a married man, i.e the lamb. (n mary is his wife).

He filed a law suit against her because she's broken off their contract before it was over, so she came back with a counter law suit - he (a married man I believe) was constantly making unwelcome advances to her, and he was sexually harrassing other women in the 'business', and was using her credit card to buy presents for his many mistresses ... :S

but yeah ... that's what's it's speculated to be about ... :)
