@gcre14 - Some men need to get off their high horses. This was an incredibly sweet commercial that showed he had the humiliation to put himself in his wife's shoes and walk around with his watermelon for the day, and it ended with a laugh and a smile for him and her.
If this is throwing men under the bus and a big risk for State Farm, then that's a surprise to me. :v
cute commercial, people are waking up on the wrong side of the bed or something. He miscarried a watermelon so what! Dont like the insurance dont buy it... simple
state farm is full of such S*H*I*T they make it seem like their company is perfect and always there for you, they are only THERE to take your money, after that, good luck.
There are too many commercials that make men look stupid. Like commercials where a man is trying to cook dinner while his kids look disapprovingly at him... he burns it, it boils over, etc.
I hate those, as the message seems to be "men can't do normal things". This is not like those, in my opinion because he's trying to empathize. He'll never be pregnant. Pregnancy is awkward, so it makes sense that he would look goofy while trying out a pregnant belly - pregnant women look goofy all the time.
Wow... It's sad that there are people out there that really have nothing better to do with their time than to criticize insurance commercials! I'm sure State Farm will really suffer from not having your business!
How typical. Yet another example of men being lampooned, ridiculed, and made to look like idiots. The worst part of it is that men put up with it, and companies like State Farm go along with it just to make a few bucks.
I look at this as just another company that throws men under the bus to appease female consumers. State Farm does this at their peril. They will never have MY business. Too Bad.
My wife and I have been loyal to State Farm for more than ten years for home and auto insurance with no claims. They're raising our home owners insurance $968 this year. Out of 30 insurance companies that write policies in my county they are the most expensive of all. Very disappointed State Farm! So long!
My mom almost cried when we bought the house in this commercial, gutted it and spent a year remodeling it. Then we sold it! Look mom! We weren't that crazy, It's in a commercial! THX Jer-Bear!
@GLHat that's what i thought! i mean, you see the bellybutton, but his damn watermelon looked more realistic.

SOMEONE HELP ME SOLVE THIS: my friend thinks the girl in this commercial is Leslie Mann (the sister from Knocked Up)...
I'm telling him it's not. Pause it at 28 seconds. Thanks!

@tahteerius I don't think it's Leslie Mann, but I do think it's the lady that played in a Pizza Hut commercial

And the worst part is, this is the FIRST TIME in recorded history that State Farm has ever stooped to this much of a low.
How sad.
