I'm a soldier in the U.S. Army and I had a buddy take his own life on my last deployment. It was a difficult time for a lot of us. He had been having problems at home. I guess he felt there was no other way out. I could never understand the frame of thought that Someone would have to do that. I saw him the day before he killed himself. He seemed a little more quiet than usual. I thought I should say whats up, but he looked busy. So I figured he was ok. I regret not approaching him.

One of the most memorable times of my life was getting to meet and play with Borg at LL3. This honestly trumped even meeting Mike. He was the epitome of do it yourself paintball and just had such a great attitude. I'm going to miss seeing you and your videos. RIP Borg, you will be remembered always and forgotten by none.

We have to say good-bye to a great paintball contributor and all-around great person. Paintball won't be the same without him, but hopefully people will try to play paintball more and play harder when they do in his memory and honor. R.I.P. Borg. You will be missed.

This is very sad news.. I didn't expect this and it kinda caught me off guard. Borg was one of my favourite paintball players for his comedy & fun outlook on it. I'll sorely miss him. Rest in peace friend.

Thanks mike for doing this, i remember stumbling onto borgs videos and it really inspired me to play paintball more, it was also just good to watch him. it really was sad when i learned about his death. R.I.P. man.
