@radicalsystems This is why the next big tyranny in the world has probably its greatest opportunity of growing in this land because most people have lost all sense of what the right to bear arms is really all about. Again and again naïve fools like you think it’s a neighbourhood violence thing you’re solving when it is really just a mean to your own genocide, persecution and slavery that you are opening up.
There are oppressive gun laws… Ask one of the 200+ million defenceless people who were killed by their government in the last century alone. Those killed by gangs are a mere drop in the ocean compared to the mass slaughter committed by governments on defenceless citizens who gave up their right of self defence, who thought it was neighbourhood gang problem they were solving and not an eventual means to their own genocide that there were opening up.
As for gun control . . You have gun control in the US . . The government have the real hardware . . and the people have the pea-shooters.
In the UK you can get hold of a gun if you really want one.
I'm just glad my neighbour doesn't have one (although he might) . . but then I suppose if he had one, I could buy one . . . and so on and so forth . . . all sounds very stressful and unnecessary.
@English0pium The army also had all the real hardware in Nazi Germany. But it was the SS man with his little pistol that took you away to the death camp in the middle of the night – not the Tiger tank from the front line.
@EpitaphofCrabkind Erm, Yes! That was my point exactly... The US 2nd Amendment says, 'A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a FREE STATE, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.' Thus an armed population is never terrorized or enslaved by its government. That only happens to those who give up this right in some cotton wool delusion that it'll keep them safe.
@English0pium you are willing to give up your Liberty and put your fate in the hands of your government. i cant even fathom the thought of doing that. but whatever, here in America we are willing to die to protect our essintial right to keep and bear arms, and we are willing to kill anyone that tries to take them.
@OversteerVideos The problem is, you’re still living by the gun. Only it’s the government’s & the criminals gun you're living by. The 2nd amendment is mainly for the criminals and tyrants who try to get into government, not the ones on the street. The statistics speak for themselves. The biggest killer of people by guns is governments against their own citizens (over 200 million in the last century alone). This alone is enough for me to want to have the right of self defence.
FBI statistics show marked decreases in crime across the board in every state that has enacted concealed carry laws. The more restrictive the gun laws the higher the crime rate, period.
Well, America had 52,447 gun related incidents in 2010 - England had 507! Makes you look a bit of a dickhead doesn't it Red-Neck Emery. We'll keep things how they are thanks - 507 is 507 too many!
@MockBlue Well an average of 8,000 gun related deaths a year sounds a hole lot better than nearly 200 million defenceless people who had 1st of all had their right to self defence removed and were then later murdered by their government in the last century alone – now who looks like the dickhead u asshole!
@crutley2 BTW: doctors in America kill more people than guns every year. If you follow Mock's logic one death is too many so we should ban doctors, right? Oh wait, doctors save lives though! So do guns. Look up how many crimes it is estimated are PREVENTED every year by private citizens simply owning guns.
@SCROGY People who want to deny the right of self defence come in two forms. Those who are fearful and brain washed into thinking society would fall apart if everyone had this right and those who want to push this fear in order to gain maximum power for their own tyranny. The whole saving people’s lives thing is simply the most effective propaganda method employed by the second type of people upon the first.
@MockBlue Uh, I think there is quite a difference in population and land mass between the two nations, as well as a different culture. "Gun related incident" is quite a broad all encompassing term.
@MockBlue Did you forget to mention carjackings, violent crimes, murder, rape, statutory rape and home invasions? Fucking idiot. Every single one of these crime categories increased after the gun control act.
@MockBlue If you look america has more NON-gun realited deaths to. This is because of american culture and has nothing to do with gun control. Additionally check the american population compared to Englands. If you don't kill someone with a gun you kill someone with a knife. Additionally history has proven that gun control and gun laws DON'T prevent violent deaths. So please do some research before you post BS.
@MockBlue You are forced to tolerate the differences of others when they have a right of self defence. In the UK people don’t have this attitude – thus, the lack of general disrespect you often experience here can sometime become intolerable.
@MockBlue oh my god you are a one big dumb liberal. How big is your country and how big is America. i can't believe you are comparing gun incidents in America with UK. Failed.. it's like compairing a big apple with tiny apple to see how many bites you can get out of it. lol. i thought UK banned guns how come they still have firearm incidents ?
@Vietboy1st LOL! Yeah, that’s because gun laws only stop the law abiding drones from having them. Illegal guns are now easier to get hold of here than ever before – they are also easy to get hold of if you’re in government and secretly wish for a dictatorship… Funnily enough, you’ll find getting a F.A.C. is easy it you’re one of those types of people and you also have connections in the freemasonry / judge / professional body type of clicks.
@crutley2 This is fact. While Bill Clinton was pushing for more gun control he was seen carrying a shotgun while hunting and surrounded by his bodyguards. You can bet that Bill didn't have to get an FAC, or sign any papers or wait 5 days for anything. One law for the common man, one for the dictators.
@SCROGY Ever since ancient times there has been a constant struggle between the common man and his right to defend himself and the want to be Lords, Kings, Dictators and other tyrants who have always wanted to ‘disarm the peasants’ in order to secure their mastery over them.
@MockBlue And how many assaults and battery's, stabbings and home invasions did Britain have? How many stabbings is too many? How many assaults is too many? How many crimes in America were deterred by the fact that citizens are allowed to own guns? You better find that out and then make some further comparisons before you speak.

@crutley2 Haha yup, unfortunately I live in Canada where gun control is regulating guns, not controlling when firing, but at least our laws are slowly being relaxed
so whats his opinion on "oppressive" uk gun laws? he says nothing of the sort here, just pissing on some guy because he beat him in a shooting contest

@Marlever357 That's the real reason for the US 2nd Amendment... @johnny771977 Well, I look forward to them trying to use them laws on all 50 million + U,S. gun owners at once. They'd better do it incrementally over a number of decades with the use of the mass controlled media brain washing machine, or else they'd be in trouble. Oh wait - that's what they've already been doing for the last couple of decades, isn't it! Guess they’re just frustrated its taking them longer than they originally hoped.
@crutley2 Guess what, the media manipulating Elite always win. They put us all in a position where we will be begging for slavery - just look, they are already covertly starting WW3.
When WW3 starts, these barstards will suspend the constitution, then all hell will be let loose
@crutley2 Modern society likes bad ideas that sound good. Oppression is not VISIBLE, but the pen is the chosen weapon of oppression, because we only need to sign strange agreements to end up in a permanent state of slavery.
We have too many obstructive rules and regulations that limit freedom. Laws are vague and ambiguous, that you don't even know if your broken THE LAW or not. I feel that the lines are being blurred deliberately so that it will be easy criminalise the innocent.
@johnny771977 True laws in a free society only punish you after carrying out actions that harm others. Oppression only comes from those laws that prevent you from going to places, doing things and owning stuff because of the fear of what others imagine you may possibly do.
@Marlever357 I have both an M-1 Garand and a few Lee-Enfileds, and I love them both. After all the orginal Lee design was American rejected by the US Army in favor of the .30-40 Krag, which showed its weakness in the Spanish America War of 1898 against the German designed Mauser, which led to the 03 Springfield. The 03 was a modified copy of the 98 Mauser and Mauser sued the US over patent infringements.
@SniperSurkov It's just an easy way for the elites of society to enslave us. Worst part is, some of these dumbasses GENUINELY believe that gun control reduces crime.
gun control was started after the french revolution as parliament and the house of lords knew that they had all the money and the land and the people might like a bit of it back...and a revolution is bad for business UK PLC sale sale sale,
The M1 Garand oh yeah baby come to me lol and i am not a sociopath lol. it just a tool of protection and lots of fun to shoot some round on the range damn right. The UK gun act is not law. it's legal not not lawful. The UK is a common law country thus the only thing that is not allowed is Common Law Principles:
1) Do not breach the peace.
2) Do not cause anyone harm.
3) Do not cause anyone loss.
4) Do not cause mischief in your promises and agreements.
@lawkipedia You're right. It is not a common law at all. It is a law of the weak, fearful and feeble who want to be easily dominated and mass murdered.
Im from the UK, but i dont wanna kill anyone using a gun, i just wanna go to the range and blast it all day long, because i love guns. Belive me they are VERY few people with sociopath minds
@MRWALKER500000 & that's the problem with the UK, there are too many fun and freedom haters living here who think that all people who have an interest in guns are also sociopathic murderers, which just isn't true.
why don't you go to Hackney or Moss Side and tell the people there you want guns legalized so that any teenage drug dealer in that area could own one.
@mancltymagics1 You don't have to… they can get them much easier via criminal means. Gun laws are only for the law abiding, making them easier victims for criminals.
@mancltymagics1 And here we have yet another example of someone who doesn’t understand what the 2nd Amendment is for. Probably because they are another fool commenting on something they’ve never actually read…
‘A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.’
I recommend you watch ‘Innocents Betrayed’ for self defence is only a secondary side benefit to a right to bear arms.
@mancltymagics1 baha! nah its from a combination of propaganda, and misinformed idiots. there hasnt been a murder within 50 miles of where i live in i believe...4-6 years. and that wasnt even with a gun, the guy killed a 12 year old girl with his bare hands. 60-70% of our murders happen in cities like chicago, new york city, and washington DC those all have the STRICTEST gun laws in the country yet they have the most crime. i have 9 guns. i dare anyone to try and take them. molon labe, socialist
@mancltymagics1 Considering there were an estimated 150 to 200 million people murdered by their governments after they had their rights of self defence taken away in the last century alone – I find 7,000 a year a very small price to pay to guarantee my independence and freedom.
@mancltymagics1 and how many knife murders moron? just because handguns are banned it doesnt mean a thug cant kill someone, maybe you should read article 2 of the European Human Rights commission on the the defence of life, so how many of those 7000 gun crimes in the USA involved legally held firearms you tit, probably about fucking none as gun owners are responsible and they respect law, gun crime in the USA is carried out by thugs with an illegal weapon you idiot
@raininginhell Americans have now got SB 1867 (NDAA) - National Defence Authorisation Act, to worry about. Under this act, innocent civilians can be rounded up and detained indefinitely without due process, merely on "allegations" or "suspicion" of terrorism.
People thought that terrorist allegations were only limited to asian middle east muslims - oh no, we got it wrong. A person with guns, ammo, food supplies, or an anti govt demonstrator can be labelled as a terrorist.
@mancltymagics1 man are you stupid or what? you think I give a flying fuck what some kids in moss side own? All I care about is being able to do what I enjoy which is target shooting and with the handgun ban laws its made it pretty damn hard to do it with a handgun. If you don't caught up in the drugs trade then why would want to worry? and if some crack addict wanted to mug you surely you would wanna gun of your own to shoot him in self defense
find a new hobby, and if some crack addict mugged me in the street what would you suggest then? also wouldn't we have much more derrick bird type people who own guns? and if you like target shooting why is the handgun necessary?
@mancltymagics1 HAHAHAHA!! What a typical anti-self defence comment that is! Nope you'd have a lot more sane people who would shoot the Mr Birds & Mr Moats before they had a chance to kill so many defenceless people.
@mancltymagics1 Your statistics are BS, BTW America has a higher crime rate naturally because our population is over 300 million and the UK has around 65 million. And if some druggie tries to mug me then I'll just shoot him, self defense is a right, doesn't matter if I use a gun of a fucking pen.
You realize that this man was actually a Gunny in the Marines, right? He not only played a Marine Gunny in FMJ but was an actual Gunny in the Marines as well.
@CRTe The Gunny was a Staff Sergeant when he was Medically Discharged. An E-6. He was made a Gunnery Sergeant "Gunny", an E-7, by the Commandant of the Marine Corps in 2002.
@MANDELBROT27 Sigh! I think he's referring to the fact that you can't get that gun in the UK (available in any good gun sore in the USA) - thus he's taking the 'P' out of the UK's over oppressive gun laws...
(Sigh again) Sometimes I loose all faith in humanity!
@crutley2 You cloud actually get a Lee-Enfield in .303 in the UK as long as you give a good reason to own it. The gun laws here aren't quite as dire as you'd first think.
@ApurtureSci Well I thinks it is a perfectly good reason to own such a gun to defend myself from common violent criminals and a possible tyrannical government taking me away to a death camp in the middle of the night, all Nazi Genocide style (you know like the US 2nd amendment is designed to do). Will they accept that on the FAC application form?
@ApurtureSci And that is a shame. In the UK you guys really could benefit from the gun laws being loosened a bit. BTW, you have groups with alot of pull trying to get them tightened there.
@ApurtureSci yeah they are. in a free country like the usa you walk in, fill out a piece of paper and you have a new firearm. you brits gave up your guns too easily. now when the government says your not allowed to leave your home and we're allowed to search your home for no reason, what are you gonna do? hit them with a cricket bat? HA! armed we are citizens, disarmed we are subjects. the brits stood single file handing their guns over. i got one thing to say. from my COLD DEAD HANDS
@thoughtly I'm more of the opinion that we don't have guns because we go running to mummy asking for the mummy government to take them away from us every time some nutter goes on a rampage and the media over hypes it. In other words - Britain is now full of a load of gutless cowards who are running away from a load of irrational fears about inanimate objects (aka firearms).
@thoughtly That's kind of the point of the US 2nd Amendment. For an armed people are never an oppressed people. You see, the Americans right to keep arms enables everyone there to have the right to defend themselves from all enemies, foreign & domestic. And don't forget - the domestic part means their own government more than the thugs on the street.
@crutley2 We have no way to defend ourselves from a communist regime which is about to issue schoolbooks for 5 year olds encouraging them to have sex with their siblings. Watch the video: Five Year Old Sex Education In The UK.
this is what is coming the US if Obama gets another term.
@thoughtly Yes that's because power leads to corruption and absolute power corrupts absolutely. That's why the 2nd amendment was created and that's why I believe in it so much - no matter what 'ism' is used by the tyrant to oppress me with whatever they want to oppress me with. But most people don't see that, they just see firearms as evil things and can't see past that to the FACT that they are even MORE evil when only the select few are allowed to have them. Please watch 'Innocence Betrayed.'
@crutley2 One person I know told me that militias are in there own fantasy world and that todays technology, we would not have a chance and that you are just acting and not thinking. I said one reason and the fore fathers knew this was that there has to be protection for the people to secure our liberties.
@GrizzPaul It’s not a stealth bomber which takes you away in the middle of the night and makes you 'disappear' onto some freight train to a death camp. It's usually a bunch of government goons with guns.
@thoughtly you are a mentally retarded idiot 5 year olds? i live in the UK and received no sex education until i was about 14 most schools don't bother at all teaching it its an American system called MTV etc that causes sex minded children so 3 years have passed and i haven't heard of this 5 year old scheme yet are you sure you didn't dream it lol
@thoughtly Yes you do. Now, is it going to be something where the people "just rise up and whip the government and military"? No, but it makes things alot more difficult for them.
@radicalsystems This is why the next big tyranny in the world has probably its greatest opportunity of growing in this land because most people have lost all sense of what the right to bear arms is really all about.

@johnny771977 First they take your guns, then they take your knifes, then they take your sticks and then they take your lives.

I feel that the lines are being blurred deliberately so that it will be easy criminalise the innocent.
johnny771977 2 months ago
@johnny771977 True laws in a free society only punish you after carrying out actions that harm others. Oppression only comes from those laws that prevent you from going to places, doing things and owning stuff because of the fear of what others imagine you may possibly do.

Piss taking sod..haha..Anyway,who needs an M1 Garand when our old Lee Enfields would still do the job..Have a nice day..from England..LOL.
Marlever357 3 months ago
@Marlever357 I have both an M-1 Garand and a few Lee-Enfileds, and I love them both. After all the orginal Lee design was American rejected by the US Army in favor of the .30-40 Krag, which showed its weakness in the Spanish America War of 1898 against the German designed Mauser, which led to the 03 Springfield. The 03 was a modified copy of the 98 Mauser and Mauser sued the US over patent infringements.

gun control was started after the french revolution as parliament and the house of lords knew that they had all the money and the land and the people might like a bit of it back...and a revolution is bad for business UK PLC sale sale sale,

@blackcountryme Talking history… according to the 1689 English Bill of Rights, we still have the right to bear arms.

It doesn't say no guns allowed.
lawkipedia 5 months ago
@lawkipedia You're right. It is not a common law at all. It is a law of the weak, fearful and feeble who want to be easily dominated and mass murdered.
crutley2 5 months ago
Im from the UK, but i dont wanna kill anyone using a gun, i just wanna go to the range and blast it all day long, because i love guns. Belive me they are VERY few people with sociopath minds
MRWALKER500000 5 months ago
@MRWALKER500000 & that's the problem with the UK, there are too many fun and freedom haters living here who think that all people who have an interest in guns are also sociopathic murderers, which just isn't true.
crutley2 5 months ago
@crutley2
why don't you go to Hackney or Moss Side and tell the people there you want guns legalized so that any teenage drug dealer in that area could own one.
mancltymagics1 5 months ago
@mancltymagics1 You don't have to… they can get them much easier via criminal means. Gun laws are only for the law abiding, making them easier victims for criminals.
crutley2 5 months ago
@crutley2
considering there was only 50gun murders last year in UK & 7000 in the USA, im happy the UK doesn't have guns, makes it far safer.
mancltymagics1 5 months ago
@mancltymagics1 And here we have yet another example of someone who doesn’t understand what the 2nd Amendment is for. Probably because they are another fool commenting on something they’ve never actually read…
‘A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.’
I recommend you watch ‘Innocents Betrayed’ for self defence is only a secondary side benefit to a right to bear arms.
crutley2 5 months ago
@mancltymagics1 baha! nah its from a combination of propaganda, and misinformed idiots. there hasnt been a murder within 50 miles of where i live in i believe...4-6 years. and that wasnt even with a gun, the guy killed a 12 year old girl with his bare hands. 60-70% of our murders happen in cities like chicago, new york city, and washington DC those all have the STRICTEST gun laws in the country yet they have the most crime. i have 9 guns. i dare anyone to try and take them. molon labe, socialist
Grunt922 4 months ago
@mancltymagics1 Considering there were an estimated 150 to 200 million people murdered by their governments after they had their rights of self defence taken away in the last century alone – I find 7,000 a year a very small price to pay to guarantee my independence and freedom.
crutley2 4 months ago 2
@mancltymagics1 and how many knife murders moron? just because handguns are banned it doesnt mean a thug cant kill someone, maybe you should read article 2 of the European Human Rights commission on the the defence of life, so how many of those 7000 gun crimes in the USA involved legally held firearms you tit, probably about fucking none as gun owners are responsible and they respect law, gun crime in the USA is carried out by thugs with an illegal weapon you idiot

@mancltymagics1 Even Gandhi knew that gun control was a bad thing.
"Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the Act depriving a whole nation of arms as the blackest." - Gandhi
raininginhell 4 months ago 39
@raininginhell Americans have now got SB 1867 (NDAA) - National Defence Authorisation Act, to worry about. Under this act, innocent civilians can be rounded up and detained indefinitely without due process, merely on "allegations" or "suspicion" of terrorism.
People thought that terrorist allegations were only limited to asian middle east muslims - oh no, we got it wrong. A person with guns, ammo, food supplies, or an anti govt demonstrator can be labelled as a terrorist.
johnny771977 2 months ago
@mancltymagics1 man are you stupid or what? you think I give a flying fuck what some kids in moss side own? All I care about is being able to do what I enjoy which is target shooting and with the handgun ban laws its made it pretty damn hard to do it with a handgun. If you don't caught up in the drugs trade then why would want to worry? and if some crack addict wanted to mug you surely you would wanna gun of your own to shoot him in self defense
02dartda 4 months ago
@02dartda
find a new hobby, and if some crack addict mugged me in the street what would you suggest then? also wouldn't we have much more derrick bird type people who own guns? and if you like target shooting why is the handgun necessary?
mancltymagics1 4 months ago
@mancltymagics1 HAHAHAHA!! What a typical anti-self defence comment that is! Nope you'd have a lot more sane people who would shoot the Mr Birds & Mr Moats before they had a chance to kill so many defenceless people.
crutley2 4 months ago
@mancltymagics1 The question is liberty, not technical specifics. The more governmental control, the less freedom.
fixdeluxe1 4 months ago 3
@mancltymagics1 Your statistics are BS, BTW America has a higher crime rate naturally because our population is over 300 million and the UK has around 65 million. And if some druggie tries to mug me then I'll just shoot him, self defense is a right, doesn't matter if I use a gun of a fucking pen.

@CRTe The Gunny was a Staff Sergeant when he was Medically Discharged. An E-6. He was made a Gunnery Sergeant "Gunny", an E-7, by the Commandant of the Marine Corps in 2002.

@crutley2 sorry... did i watch the same video? What has that got to do with UK gun law? Im serious, is he taking the piss out of us?
MANDELBROT27 9 months ago
@MANDELBROT27 Sigh! I think he's referring to the fact that you can't get that gun in the UK (available in any good gun sore in the USA) - thus he's taking the 'P' out of the UK's over oppressive gun laws...
(Sigh again) Sometimes I loose all faith in humanity!
crutley2 9 months ago
@crutley2 You cloud actually get a Lee-Enfield in .303 in the UK as long as you give a good reason to own it. The gun laws here aren't quite as dire as you'd first think.
ApurtureSci 8 months ago
@ApurtureSci Well I thinks it is a perfectly good reason to own such a gun to defend myself from common violent criminals and a possible tyrannical government taking me away to a death camp in the middle of the night, all Nazi Genocide style (you know like the US 2nd amendment is designed to do). Will they accept that on the FAC application form?
crutley2 8 months ago
@crutley2 I'm afraid not, and that's the problem with our country's gun system. Yous hoot someone in defense, you go down for murder.
ApurtureSci 8 months ago
@ApurtureSci And that is a shame. In the UK you guys really could benefit from the gun laws being loosened a bit. BTW, you have groups with alot of pull trying to get them tightened there.
CRTV1982 6 months ago
@ApurtureSci yeah they are. in a free country like the usa you walk in, fill out a piece of paper and you have a new firearm. you brits gave up your guns too easily. now when the government says your not allowed to leave your home and we're allowed to search your home for no reason, what are you gonna do? hit them with a cricket bat? HA! armed we are citizens, disarmed we are subjects. the brits stood single file handing their guns over. i got one thing to say. from my COLD DEAD HANDS
Grunt922 6 months ago
@ApurtureSci oh my gosh shut up...In the US you dont need a reason to own one...just the money...
AntBanks2626 6 months ago

thoughtly 11 months ago 2
@thoughtly I'm more of the opinion that we don't have guns because we go running to mummy asking for the mummy government to take them away from us every time some nutter goes on a rampage and the media over hypes it. In other words - Britain is now full of a load of gutless cowards who are running away from a load of irrational fears about inanimate objects (aka firearms).
crutley2 11 months ago
@crutley2 We desperatly need guns and the guts to turn them on the fascist one party marxist state.
thoughtly 11 months ago
@thoughtly That's kind of the point of the US 2nd Amendment. For an armed people are never an oppressed people. You see, the Americans right to keep arms enables everyone there to have the right to defend themselves from all enemies, foreign & domestic. And don't forget - the domestic part means their own government more than the thugs on the street.
crutley2 11 months ago
@crutley2 We have no way to defend ourselves from a communist regime which is about to issue schoolbooks for 5 year olds encouraging them to have sex with their siblings. Watch the video: Five Year Old Sex Education In The UK.
this is what is coming the US if Obama gets another term.
thoughtly 11 months ago
@thoughtly Yes that's because power leads to corruption and absolute power corrupts absolutely. That's why the 2nd amendment was created and that's why I believe in it so much - no matter what 'ism' is used by the tyrant to oppress me with whatever they want to oppress me with. But most people don't see that, they just see firearms as evil things and can't see past that to the FACT that they are even MORE evil when only the select few are allowed to have them. Please watch 'Innocence Betrayed.'
crutley2 11 months ago
@crutley2 One person I know told me that militias are in there own fantasy world and that todays technology, we would not have a chance and that you are just acting and not thinking. I said one reason and the fore fathers knew this was that there has to be protection for the people to secure our liberties.
GrizzPaul 11 months ago
@GrizzPaul It’s not a stealth bomber which takes you away in the middle of the night and makes you 'disappear' onto some freight train to a death camp. It's usually a bunch of government goons with guns.
crutley2 11 months ago
@thoughtly you are a mentally retarded idiot 5 year olds? i live in the UK and received no sex education until i was about 14 most schools don't bother at all teaching it its an American system called MTV etc that causes sex minded children so 3 years have passed and i haven't heard of this 5 year old scheme yet are you sure you didn't dream it lol
JamesCunnyy 9 months ago
@thoughtly Yes you do. Now, is it going to be something where the people "just rise up and whip the government and military"? No, but it makes things alot more difficult for them.
