There is no evidence...none... that global warming is man made. It is a farce. All evidence points to regular changes in climate. CO2 increases after temperature increases. Polar bears are increasing population as all things do in warmer climate. Ice melts in summer. And scientist / politicians are taking advantage of doctored and falsified data, and a lack of education to promote this crap. This is a small video "aimed" at children. Let's ignore for a moment that you're dead wrong on the issue of evidence (seeing as the evidence is actually conclusive that it's caused by human activity; natural climate change does NOT jump exponentially over the course of fifty years - or are we gonna pull a "Hackel's drawings" over climategate?). I might not get the hockey sticks reference, but if you'd like an Internet source, evidence that the earth's average temperature has increased sharply within a short amount of time is often presented in any discourse on global warming. Concerning polar bears, the ice caps themselves have decreased in size over a few decades. If you'd like specific named sources, I can do that in a separate post.

I don't know if I'm putting words in your mouth, but did you mean that warming is an unresolved question? I only ask because the scientific consensus is that it does occur, and the generally demonstrable cause is the greenhouse effect. I see. You're referring to the MBH98 reconstructions. While I know there were some spurious claims from outside the scientific community attacking the methodology, you could hardly call it "disproven" with any seriousness. I don't know where you heard anything about a debate being over, but "debate" doesn't so much occur in science as peer review, in which all experiments and findings are essentially pilloried by scientists with criticism, counter-testing, etc.

Wait, what? Peer review is a demonstration that you can, indeed, question everything and are, by the non-authoritarian nature of science, encouraged to. Your claims of bias and pseudoscience are completely unfounded; state funding is not enough to establish clear breaches in objectivity. You'd have to analyze the specific experiments. And what of those in government who do not believe in global warming? Are they not significant in number? How is it their funding gas not yielded contrary results? No one has said anything about a debate being closed, but "debate" is hardly on par with informed analysis, if your "experiment" is any indication.

no. carbon emmissions do not increase the lifespan. tractors leisure time and electricity and medical care help to increase your lifespan. in countries with high emmissions they rest more and live longer. development means longer lifespan AND higher emmissions. we are cap and trading small countries also as in KIOTO or Copenhagen. we are rich enough to buy carbon credits they are not we are stopping development. yes yes the state imposed education, exactly. i am not trying to accuse orbebiased:)

Also, Japan and most countries in Europe are fairly industrialized and affluent; it has been proposed that underdeveloped nations be allowed to emit carbon over a transitional period of industrialization as these would be isolated and controlled instances that will not compound any damage already done.
