I MADE THIS LAST SUNDAY! thanks alot it was delicious my family and i enjoyed it alot and i was thinking to be a chef now that i did this i will i know its an easy plate but i will definetly be one thanks alos and it was delicious
Looks good except for the soggy limp bacon...couldnt I place the bacon on top of the balogna ? to crisp it up instead of having it buried in the beans?
Down here, Wisconsin we have all the favored Bush beans, among them is BBQ. If I used that would I need to add BBQ sauce?
I hope you will have better availability of Bush beans in the future. Your right... they are the best . Down here you can't go into a store without being bombarded by all the diff flavors of Bush's.
Lenny, its very good. Im sure you will enjoy it! Depending on where you purchase it you may have to remove a casing before eating it...some have the casing, some dont.
so im supposed 2 use barbecue sauce not ketchup

Bush's baked beans is the best, hands down. I always have at least 1 can of it in the cupboard. That said, this is one recipe that I surely will try.

LOL, bacon that way is actually quite good.
Sure, you can leave it on top, or you can precook it till crisp and crumble it in the baked beans too!
