I have one found it today I'm feeding it every two hours and keeping it warm they're so cute .Where I come from people eat them it actually tastes like curried goat when cooked right but i was tricked in eating it though I hope she survives she's such a joy .I had three before and they died :(

If you notice the teeth, that indicate that it was not a rat. The largest rats in the world are the Gambian pouched rat, which can get as big as 8 pounds. They're being trained as mine detectors in Mozambique because they're light on their feet and can dig at the mines without detonating them. They're really cute actually.

So many people consider these and other animals like rats (I have 18 pet rats myself) to be just vermin and pests...it's nice to know some people understand these animals are just as capible of feeling and needing care and love as any other "traditional" pet.
