I grew-up in Toronto. At sixteen got to go a hockey tournament to Kamloops, BC. We flew to Vancouver and bused to Kamloops. On the return trip we played the Pink Floyd album in the bus on the coke.... Momentary Lapse of Reason... South of the toll both. Some of the coolest places in BC. But flying out of Van... Probably over Hope somewhere on way to Toronto at dusk this song came on... I know Gloria was probably singing of a person, I was 'feeling' the west coast.
