A beautiful song from a beautiful album made all the more so by the inclusion of my favourite Neil Diamond song of all time "If you know what I mean". Also check out other equally great songs on the "Beautiful Noise" album which never really got much exposure down the years, "Home is a wounded heart" and "signs".

Before I leave this good earth, I want to go to a Neil Diamond in concert. I loved the Hot August Night Concert last night on TV!! it was too short....it should have been at least 2 hours! He is the greatest!

Back in 77, out at sea, my wife had sent the latest from Neil Diamond, "Beautiful Noise". It was an 8 track tape, Remember those? I was an engine room tech. I would go down the ladder and take my station while singing "Beautiful Noise". Like Mr. Diamond, to me the sound of my engines were a "Beautiful Noise". =Stefan=
