The reason Dark Void Smeargle is legal is because Smeargle's stats are abysmal. He could take a lesson from a Paras.

@JustGonnaLiveMyLife no, has nothing to do with it, all non-event pokemon are allowed except ubers. Also, smeargle should never have been allowed because you have to get dark void from sketching darkrai which was a banned pokemon. Makes no sense whatsoever but w/e nintendo is retarded.

@DeagleBeagle He Sketched it from a Darkrai. He did nothing wrong, someone else did. He followed all the rules. Considering the opponent made the fatal mistake of allowing the Smeargle to use Trick Room was a display of his naive skills. If you see a Smeargle, it is practically screaming "Rawr sleep"

certain pokemon gin EV points 4 EV points=1 stat point

you can only have 255 to a stat, but you should only need 252

max otal of EV's are 510, no more

its confusing at first, but after you've defeated a pokemon it gives off EVs(effort values) lets say you killed a pichu, it would give off 1 ev..if you have pokerus on ur pokemon the pichu would give off 2, if you have a pokerus + power anklet it would give off 8(10 evs = 1 stat increase) kill about 40 pichus then ur speed would be increased to the max. tentacool is good for special defense, goldeen, and gyarados is good for attack and so on

yo the guy that had electivire couldve won but he didnt play it smart let me explain. wat he shouldve did was killed off lapras first to have a better chance of surviving. the perish wouldve fell to 2 turns and being that his dusknoir was already near half its hp one more thunderbolt would make it red with 1 perish to go. his electivire was at full strength too he couldve killed dusknoir without the perish even killing him. this is assuming his dusknoir didnt know any status afflicting moves

This is what happens when there is no sleep clause in effect. Bullshit like Dark Void Smearegle djust destroy the game, whats the fun in this. That guy more or less played to win rather than to show some skills.

Oh well, I think I respect the other guy for trying to battle head on, I am definitely making a lead counter for this darkrai and smearegle strategy.

How about a Stalling Yanmega? Get Yanmega to raise it's speed stat untl it can wipe out Darkrai with U-turn or Bug Buzz. That's what I'd do.

machamp effect only effects the pokemon at are directly in battle with it and since smeargle didnt use it on machamp it was normal accuracy

Thanks and no on the lum berry, i have fire reduction for metagross. I made quite a bit of mistakes because I wasn't thinking much . I was just happy that I got my goal for top 2. I miss my first taunt because of fake out but I could have taunt smeargle in the second turn when gyarados avoided it but instead I had just DD'd.
