Why do you take the guns when you already have them from the beginning??

If you don't take the guns then you are unable to shoot the ropes in the pool room later in the level. At least as far as I can tell - I was in the middle of my best run and then realised I couldn't shoot the statue down. Only thing I'd done differently was not collect the pistols.

If you beat the time trial in the manor does it say it anywhere? Like is it listed in the menu with your score anywhere? If not, that sucks. It's like there'd be no point except to test yourself, nothing more. Is that it???

oh, you get an achievement called "croft manor speedrun" but that's it. sorry ):

no cheats just an achievement. it's so when you finish the game, you go back and do all the other achievements.

How fast do you have to complete the croft manor to complete the time trial? I made it in 15min 16 sec, but in the end it said: completed time trial: no

I beat the actual "Croft Manor" (not replay, but the game itself, non-stop)

and I beat it in exactly 15:30!!!!

BUT NO TIME TRIAL, it says. I unlocked NOTHING. :(

WHY? Did I do something wrong? Not collecting all the items including the journal have something to do with it?!?

You have to chose replay level, then croft manor, and change the difficulty to time trial. Then you can complete the time trial mode. You have to complete it in about, 17-18 minutes, so it's not that hard I think.

Except a "personal triumph" maybe. It's not very hard anymore, but I think now it was a waste of time. :::Fart:::

It's 11, 2, 7. :-) They are written on the cover in the far right book in the trophy room where you get the sundial part. If you read the book, Lara says the numbers out loud.

(Late reply) The BOOKS contain fragments of legends, mythology, interesting anecdotes, etc. BUT the SIGNIFICANT ones; "Trials of Gilead" Volumes 1-3, give you HINTS on items to collect to advance. The Bow, Arrow, & the Cog. AND there's a book that tells you a code: (11, 2, 7) Moving this giant clock numbers- opens the gate to the garden hedge maze. :) ...Weird that someone gave you a thumbs down?! Well, I think your question was perfectly reasonable! So I gave you a thumbs up to even it out. :)

Croft Manor in Legend is better than CM in Annicersary. and music in legend is better...:)

i like the design and look of the Legend CM, but its much bigger (well maybe not MUCH) in Anniversary. it has the outside and maze, and the 2 extra rooms upstairs (Legend only had the study and laras room, Ann has that including the music room and... some other room lol)

06:17 and 07:03 WTF!?!? Those jumps are supose to KILL YOU! If I were the make a regular jump at those two times, I would have lost ALOT more life than you did! Swan dives from that height are automatic deaths.
