Saw this last week at the Al Hirschfeld theater.  It was awesome. I usually don't enjoy musicals but this was probably the most enjoyable live theater I've ever seen in my life. Down the road was Alan Rickman's play, Seminar. Saw that, too. It was meh.

The dance choreography compared to the original makes no sense at all. In the original, there was a story and a reason for the dancing, now it's all mindless flash and dazzle. Radcliffe's voice is surprisingly good, they just need to fire the choreographer.

@valerias8 Yes, this is still on Broadway. I just saw it last Sunday, and it is absolutely hilarious! Acting is awesome throughout. Somehow, the songs from this did not wow me though, I didn't leave the show with any songs stuck in my head or anything. But that's just a personal preference, everyone likes different kinds of music. Bottomline, the performances are great, and I'd recommend it. Dan is definitely a very versatile actor, he'll be there for at least another 2 months I believe.
