It's not about overthrowing the government there's somthing much bigger and much badder than anything you have ever imagined, Fight when the time is right plan your attacks remember we are no terrorists we are aren't insane we saw the truth and are fighting what it gave us, Stand up fight don't laze around.
You cannot abolish government, only make it more inclusive, accountable, representative, and dedicated to the public service. There are too many of us for an end to mass society - all we can do is give mass society a human face which will entail truly revolutionary action. To wipe out government and mass society you would need a nuclear apocalypse, a viral catacylism or some other horrendous event and it is monstrous to advocate such things. We need solidarity, we need to embrace humanity.
Yes, a realistic plan. This is the problem I have with most purist socialists/anarchists. We need to cease the state including it's government not to eliminate it.like many anarchists advocate.
so all we need to do is take those few families that loan money to governments ...(the elitists who think they own the world) and make them into good and generous people?
What we need is popular control, a society where everyone benefits, and where the exploitative elite is overthrown. We cannot do this by destroying society and relapsing into barbarism. We have to transform society radically which is what revolution is all about.
the machine has to have its plug pulled now!!!! there has been no better time (or worse) to rise and bury these animals that preach hope in a fraudulent, vile and debauch political and moral system, stifled with lies and manipulation. peace to the honest man. He shall prevail from this torment of wickedness and stupitidy
I recently watched the HBO film on John Adams. The Continental Congress was important in drafting a Declaration and uniting revolutionary minded people. We need a revolution and a declaration of principles to present to the Corporatocracy that is our current leadership, and literally elect new leaders to meet outside the current system. In other words, if you don't like what the current government is doing, start a new one.
I believe governments are necessary. However, less government is possible when we have a Constitution that genuinely liberates us from the tyranny of overlords and corrupt rulers, like nearly everyone in the current system of government. In other words, we don't have to throw out governments just because we have a bad one.
mObi, the Republican party has convinced many americans that govt sucks, that it is ineffective and bloated, even while they expanded, corrupted and bloated gov't. The institution of gov't is not the problem. that would have been a very successful approach with hitler. love does not imply pacifism. ask any mother whose children are being attacked. the mountains are my sisters, as are the fish and the forests. and they are being attacked. meditating all day long will not keep that from happening.
this new age trend among people to see 'anger' as something that needs to be 'eliminated' (i guess that means they 'hate anger'?) is just exactly what the tyrants want so they can continue the destruction of our planet unchecked.
i'm middle aged not new age. i see where militant radicalism got my generation. i've seen where violence and anger take things, interpersonally and globally. i don't friggen meditate all day, tho that might help. i seethe, and i ache, i cope with death and dying all around me, i try to protect my kids, and i make crazy little movies, trying to communicate something. i speak out. it's not enough but it's the hummingbird approach to firestorm prevention. peace.

this isn't an argument. it's two perpectives. one is that anger is perhaps the only fuel for effective action in a crisis. the other perspective is that we need a cleaner fuel.

I only speak for myself here, but in my opinion, that would be the same thing as getting rid of cancer, only to replace it with something as harmful.
It's not that *this* is a bad government. They all are, there is no *good* one among any of them. Ever.
I want to do away with governments - hell, I want to do away with unsustainable 'mass society' which would even call for the need of a government.
And without government, things wouldn't look the same, but why would we want them to anyway?

I am not just speaking of the American Republican party, I am referring to all governments, everywhere.
The institution of government IS the problem, in my opinion.
The 'better', & 'honest' candidates are just better liars. A politicians job is to get votes and rally support.
Citizens can't recognize that change is in *their* power until they quit abdicating their power to politicians.
What I'm saying is that we should work WITH each other, not FOR someone else.
