Wow, unbelievable! Did you make it off the island? We watched waves like that build when we were in Cuba and it scared the ** out of us when they smashed through the restaurant doors. It was crazy! Ours was Noel last year and it really hit Dominican hard.

I'm a big meteorology buff, so I avised my friends if we headed north to Puerto Plata we would have nice weather by the afternoon. They trusted me and thank god I was correct.
