Ah, "The writer's life"; "Words are your fuel"; "My theory is that everyone wants to be a writer"; it's about "communing with yourself"; Writing is "a much more physical acitivity than you would think"; it's "...an emotional and physical activity as well as a cerebral one" ... This is one of the great things about Martin Amis: one has merely to quote him verbatim to satirise him.
@jsuglia "decontextualize utterances"... what a great game, must be a day of rain, i want to play errrr, errr ,err tangental meanderings, best i could pluck from my limited vocab, i will try to drop it into a comment on utube tomorrow,, wish me luck
@ZachClooney u didnt see nothing in the karenmalones words??? her words where perfectly clear, may be u dont know what satire is, so fucking illiterate donkey go back to school before entering in some sort of discussions
@KarenMalone communing with urself .. wheres an icon for a furrowed brow when u need it. i always thought the point of writing was to commune with others, ohhhh u have to watch it, commenting on this sort of vid, too many wannabees and idle writers avoiding typing their bread and butter and communing with others here ,oh dear, my meander has gone off on a bit of a tangent, i do apologise
of course Kingsley was critical of Martin...he is nowhere near as good.., and compared with Martin he is like most writers...rather dull

How easy it is to decontextualize utterances! At least Martin Amis would never confuse satire with parody.
