Super Mario Galaxy 2 100% - Starshine Beach - Surf, Sand, and Silver Stars

What doesn't make sense to me is that there are piantas here, but this galaxy isn't from Mario Sunshine.

ya it sucked yoshi couldnt go in water but in sunshine he actualy seemed useful in that game than this one.

@diaryofmouse i beg to differ. yoshi was used for like 4 stars and a couple blue coins in sunshine, while yoshi has a lot of powerups that make him really useful

i love this level so much :3 mostly cause of the music and i can goof off here with this level with yoshi and go multiplayer especialy and just play around in this area man i love this game and level

I was reliefed when Yoshi couldn't dissapear on water in this galaxy, but in Super Mario Sunshine I hated it.

@BluTak7 The ghosts are just extra challenges to see if you can complete the levels faster than Nintendo's staff. You get nothing for beating the ghosts; it's just for fun.

I think this galaxy could be Delfino island under ruins. Now, before you question it, listen. The first Mario Galaxy, Bowser made parts of the earth fly into the sky. What if all of Delfino Island went up too? Without resources to last forever, they perished and only some of it remains. the tower in the water seems llike ta broken version of the shine gate, the statue of the pianta is there, EVEN THE YOSHI EGG IS STILL THERE. Any thoughts?

@zanises because Sunshine is purposely annoying so it can be extremely frustrating in some points. I still haven't beaten that damn level where you have to get Yoshi on the boats to the island.. and in that level, water kills Mario... uhg...
