HRH Princess Anne has said on several occasion that when she & other members of the family are with Her Majesty they DO courtsey & bow. All members of the Royal Family observe STRICT rules of protocol which include curtseying & bowing as well as addressing The Queen as 'Your Majesty' & then 'Ma'am'. Protocol also commands that nobody, royal or otherwise turn their back on HM.
